when we entered we walk towards the Hokage tower, as we walk we where stared at by many people the women tried to look appealing and the men tried to look strong. I stayed close to my Naru-Chan as did the rest of the nine members. we all made sure that Naruto was out of sight from these villagers that once caused him nothing but pain. "Naruto, how are you feeling?" I asked quietly. he looked at me with an uneasy smile but nodded, "I-I'm fine, I think."
giving him a nod we approached the tower, walking in and up to the office we stopped in front of the office doors. we all stood outside I kept a tight hold of Naru-chan's hand as he held back just as tight.
the voice we hear was of a women allowing us to enter, walking into the office we stopped in front of the desk, there I saw the disgrace standing next to the desk that sat close to the window in the center of the room. sitting in the chair was none-other then Tsunade. the women who tortured my sweet Naru-chan. I growled at her but she completely missed it.
she smiled at us then it fell. the smile was obviously not genuine, I knew she could see my Naru-chan, her eyes where trained on the spot Naru-chan was on. even though we tried to keep Naru-chan hidden. she could still see the golden tails through the cracks.
"I thought it was just a rumor but its true you do have the nine-tails!" Naru-Chan shrunk back hiding behind me. "his name is Naruto" Nagato stated, he glared down at Tsunade. her eyes widened, she settled back in her seat, it was as if she wanted to say something but chose not to.
she cleared her throat, "well then, lets get down to business, we need to discuss a peace treaty" she said seeming a little uneasy not a single one of us trusted her, but I knew Naru-Chan was trying to give her the benefit of doubt. "Naru-Chan remember what she did to you." I thought through the link. he looked up at me and gave a determined look, "No, everyone deserves to be given a second chance" I sighed, "as long as you be carful." I thought, he nodded with a smile.
"we would like to discuss the terms of this treaty, we need to know what you want before we accept." Nagato said, Tsunade nodded slowly, "okay, we will give you what you want in turn we want a couple things..." Tsunade started, "we would like man power, you have a lot of it seeing as you where once the... Akatsuki, and most if not all the nine jinchūriki live within the nameless village of yours." she said with her hands clasped in front of her. "And?" Nagato encouraged her to finish, "we want the nine tails 6 months out of the year."
it was deathly quiet. you could hear a pin drop, each of us stared at Tsunade with pure hatred. "not a chance" Deidara said stepping forward, "over our dead boys! we've heard stories of what happened to him we refuse to let you take him again" Kakuzu stated, Tsunade raised her arms in surrender. "alright why don't you think about it for the night and we can discuss the matter tomorrow." she tried, "we'll be leaving right now you can forget about the peace treaty" Nagato said, we all turning to leave. "wait!" Tsunade yelled standing from her seat, but we didn't listen. "Guys" Naru-Chan called we stopped and looked back over to him. at this point Tsunade could clearly see Naru-Chan as we all turned to leave but him, I walked back next to him and pulled him close to me, he grinned up at me, it seemed forced though. "Are you alright love?" I asked, he nodded "lets hear her out before we go" I let out a sigh then looked over at Nagato, he also let out a sigh.
"what is it?" Nagato asked, the woman sat back down and cleared her throat. "why don't you stay a week and see how much this village has changed, then maybe you would reconsider" Naru-chan looked up at us with the biggest pair of puppy dog eyes we've seen yet, we all looked at each other and nodded, "fine we will stay but know this, one wrong move and" Nagato started slowly approaching the desk. "we're gone" he finished backing up to hide Naru-Chan again.
"Sasuke, escort them to the best inn we have" Tsunade said waving Sasuke out, he growled, "follow me" he said with no enthusiasm. that was one point off of Konoha for a shitty guide. they weren't off to a good start.
We walked through the village deciding to let Naru-chan be seen by everybody, none of us expected to see most of the villagers looking at him in awe. there was a handful of people glaring hatefully at him and we all glared right back. not a single one of us let our guard down. soon we came up to this large building it was smaller then the Hokage tower but still big. as we walked in we where greeted by a lady at the front desk, at first she seemed professional that was until she started pushing up her breasts...
"well hello there~" she said staring at Nagato, her eyes fell onto Naru-Chan, her smile fell at first she looked at him wide-eyed but then it turned into a glare. "and who's this little... thing?" I growled, "this little thing is a person" Nagato said glaring daggers at the woman. she was taken a back and looked intimidated.
soon we got a room and the disgrace left us alone, Naru-Chan fell onto the bed with a light thud he let out a sigh, "so want do you think so far?" Nagato asked me. I huffed, "this was a bad idea, I don't believe they changed enough" Nagato nodded, "well we have to stay the week, then we can leave" Sasori said resting against the wall he stared out the window, "there are ANBU watching us" Naru-Chan informed us, we all looked out the window and released KI we saw someone stagger at the edge of the window before they jumped away.
"how many people did you sense?" Sasori asked, Naru-Chan held up two fingers. "they're trying to find out information on us, from this day till the end of our stay we talk through the link unless they talk to us understood?" Nagato asked, we all nodded.
This is gonna be a long week...
