He was living in a happy bubble, unknown to the miseries of the world.

For him, the definition of help was, financial support to the employees in need.

For him, the definition of care was, being at the dinner table on weekends with his parents.

For him, the definition of stress was, an extended and busy day at office.

For him, the definition of pain was, a small cut on his cheek while shaving.

What changed his perspective towards the life?

A mysterious girl, that was brought in his life.

Her scared heart carried traces of her past.
Her shoulders carried the burden of secrets.
Her eyes carried all the evidences of how inhumane this world could be.

He walked towards her with slow steps, his eyes analyzing hers.
She blinked once, anticipation fogging her mind.
Unknown to her, a thin cloud of panic was rising in her heart with his every slow movement.

She walked back, but he held her hand to halt her movement, and pulled her towards him. Her breath hitched. She could not express that it was getting difficult for her to breathe.
He looked deep in her scared eyes, that were now clouded with helplessness.
He dipped his head to capture her lips in his. But changing his mind the last moment, he placed his lips on her neck. She struggled to breathe and wriggled in his arms to suck in a deep breath. He misunderstood her actions to be her response to his advances. Her shaky movements, resulted in his increased intimacy and passion.

He abruptly turned her around and pulled the zip of her dress in one swift motion, with an expectation to see her flawless creamy back.
But he immediately stepped back with fear at the view in front of him.

He froze.

Before he could react or compose himself, a body collapsed down on the floor.

His mind was fogged with fear and heart was clouded with shock.
He looked ahead with a bated breath as his own heart was about to stop beating.

A semi-naked body was now lying on the floor as her heart pumped rapidly, in search of breath, wriggling and squirming violently, as if in immense pain.

His feet were rooted to his place as he saw the body slowly gave in to the clutches of pain and was still in no time.
