13: Café

I open my eyes still holding Niki.

"Y/n you awake?" I hear Niki's soft voice.

"Now I am." I say and release her from my grasp, she turns around to look at me.

"Thank you for helping me..." she says softly.

"Oh no, it's fine don't worry! Wanna go to a cafe and have some breakfast or something?" I ask her.

"That would be lovely!" She says, I sit up and make my way to my clothes to change back into them. I turn my phone on to see if I got any notifications, yet I did have a lot of TikTok notifications of me being tagged in videos. I open TikTok to see all those videos are edits of Niki and I, or me throwing my phone against the wall.

I take my clothes and go to the bathroom to get dressed, I take off Niki's shorts and hoodie and put on my own clothes. I walk into the living room and see the cats sitting next to each other looking out of the window. How cute!

I sit down on the couch and unlock my phone. I go on twitter to scroll through some tweets. But when I opened twitter I got a discord notification from Wilbur. It's the script! The lore stream is tomorrow at 6pm BST, how on earth do I get this script in my head before tomorrow? Maybe I just ask Niki... she has done this multiple times. Then Niki walks into the living room wearing a sweat shirt with a skirt.

"Hey Niki can I ask you a question?" I ask while she walks in looking at her phone.

"Yeah sure what is it?"

"How do you get the lore in your head... I just got the script from Will." I say.

"Oh, I just read it like 2 times 'cause it doesn't need to be perfect, and the script is sort of halfway done, so just use your imagination to. You can always have the script on your second monitor." She explains sitting next to me on the couch.

"Thanks!"

"Do you know what kind of lore character you are?" Niki asks me with all her attention.

"Sort of, but you'll see in your script what my character kinda is." I say giving her no hints. She immediately grabs her phone and go to the script.

"What I can see here is that your character is going to be fun!"

"Yup! I'm happy with the script! But we should get going, it's 11 am and I'm hungry!" She nods and we walk to the hallway, we both put on our shoes and start walking to a cafe nearby.

"Here! This cafe looks nice!" Niki says pointing to a cafe full with plants and flowers, or should I say... the place where I got fired.

"Yeah... I kinda worked there a week ago..." I say with a awkward smile.

"Oh... we can walk a litt-" I cut her off.

"No, no! It's fine let's go!" I say and take her by the wrist into the cute cafe. "Choose what you want, my treat!"

"I really hate that you want to pay for everything... but fine I'll just take a green tea with a croissant." She says while we approach the counter I have cleaned at least 500 times.

"Hi, welcome to gar- Y/n is that you?" The girl behind the counter cuts herself off when she looked to the people who wanted to place a order.

"That's me, nice to see you Emily." I say not wanting to have this conversation.

"Omg, everyone misses you so much!" She says. She was wearing some light blue skinny jeans with a white shirt, god she is a basic b!t-

"Yeah I could imagine, I would miss me to." I say with a fake smile to her, Niki looks at me trying her best to hold in her laugh. "Anyways, I'm here for food, not a conversation."

"Oh, yeah my apologies! So, how can I take your order?" Emily says getting back into her role.

"A green tea, one croissant, a Y/F/C and a Y/F/C/M." I say. (Your favourite coffee, your favourite cafe meal)

"Alright, that will be 13 pounds. Do you wanna pay with cash or credit card?"

"Card." I say and pay with my card. Niki and I went to take a seat near a window and the plants.

"So you worked here huh? This nice place and didn't even tell me." She say looking at me.

"Yeah, I guess, but it's just a café." I say. My phone starts ringing so I pick up my phone to look who is calling me. Wilbur. "Wilbur is calling me... he never calls me?" I say to Niki

"Pick up, maybe it's an emergency." I do what she says and pick up the phone.

"Hello?"

"HELLO Y/N." I hear the all too familiar voice say.

"What do you want Tommy."

"Nothing just wanted to say hi, I stole Wilburs phone."

"I see Tommy, but I'm busy right now."

"What are you doing?" he says ignoring that I'm 'busy'.

"I'm in a café with Niki right now."

"Give the phone to Niki, I wanna talk to her."

"Alright." I say handing the phone to Niki. "Tommy wants to talk to you."

"Oh okay! Hello Tommy! ... What no! ... It's been like a week... Oh hi Wilbur! ... bye!!" Is all I hear from her. "Wilbur noticed his phone was gone and saw Tommy with his phone." She says looking at me giggling, just like it was the perfect timing, Emily walked to our table with our drinks and food.

"There you go! But Y/N I heard your twitch blew up, how come?" Emily says placing down the food. 

"Magic." I simply answer.

"I thought you will never blow up when you said you started streaming, but look at you now!" She says.

"Okay, but I didn't ask, now shoo and go work behind the counter."

"Oh come on Y/N! We haven't talked in so long! We should really do some streaming together! And play that Minehouse or whatever you call it game!" She says.

"No thank you. Now go, you disgust me, Emily."

"Jeez, rude much." The blonde-haired girl said walking back to the counter.

"She would use you for your fame, I can smell it." Niki says. We eat our food and drink our drinks and went back to her apartment.
