ELIZABETH HOPED THE NEWS ABOUT Sirius dumping her wouldn't spread as quickly. But the morning after the break up, Freya's 15 year old brother sat down beside her with a triumph smile plastered on his face.
"I told you so." He said in a singing voice, making Elizabeth roll her eyes.
"You know, usually brother, yes, ever little brothers, beat up the person who broke their precious sister's heart."
"Ah, but I did warn you before hand, that Sirius was just going to break your heart in the end, but did you listen? Nope. Why would I even beat him up If I had clearly told you what you should have done." He brother smugly answered only making Elizabeth scowl more.
"Oh, sod off, Ellis."
Ellis Rogers chuckled before grabbing the crumpet from Elizabeth's plate and standing up. He ruffled up his sister's hair and said, "Don't eat too much. Break up sweets will make you get fat. I mean fat-ter."
Elizabeth slapped his hand, only amusing the boy even more, before he went back to sit with his fellow 5th year Gryffindors.
Elizabeth hated the fact that Lily studied all night and therefore was still asleep and that she woke up early because she couldn't sleep anymore. She was left alone to drown in her heartbreak. That is, until someone sat beside her. "Good Morning, Sirius' ex number one hundred and thirty."
"That's just exaggerating, James." Elizabeth grumbled. She had expected Mr. Golden boy Gryffindor to know about the break up already. After all, he is Sirius' best mate.
James chuckled as he grabbed a toast. "Still being protective of him, are we?"
Elizabeth rolled her eyes. "I don't even want to know why you are awake before Remus. But, If your just gonna mock me about Sirius, then you can just leave because I know already know for a fact I will be getting too much of that today."
"Actually, I didn't come here to mock you."
Elizabeth looked at James with a sarcastic look making the lad grin. "Alright, maybe I did. But, that's not really my main concern."
"Oh please, oh great James Potter. Please do enlighten me with your concerns besides Quidditch and getting into Lily Evans' pants." Elizabeth said slowly and lazily, in attempts to make the golden boy frown. Yet, it only made his grin become wider.
"Your already there."
"What? What do you mean?"
James leaned in closer to her ear, his lips barely grazing her skin, sending unwanted shivers down her spine. Yet, she didn't pull away and intended to listen. "How about we make a deal, Liz?"
Now, this has caught Elizabeth's full curiosity. She, however, pulled back a bit and raised her eyebrows. "What kind of deal, Potter?"
A wicked smile started to form on his lips and Elizabeth saw his eyes twinkle with amusement.. the way it always did when he was up to something no good. "You want revenge on Sirius right? I want to make Lily jealous. Isn't the answer obvious? Rogers! Let's date for fake!"
The first initial reaction of Elizabeth was to scream incoherent words and say how ridiculous the idea was. It was what Elizabeth had figured she would do so. But it surprised her when she suddenly said, "What are the rules?"
