Making his way to the blond he slid his arms to the other's shoulder to carry him as if he were a bride.

Flustered eyes opened to the sight of the other warmly carrying him. "You're back-"

"Ya, you've been waiting for me, right? Didn't you catch a cold?" Technoblade's expression warmed.

"No, I am stronger than I look" Dream scoffed.

Techno just replied with chuckles as he placed the other on the couch and started to light up the fire before handing him a fur blanket made from bear skin.

"How was the meeting? And what are the plans?" Dream questioned as he laid on the couch and the other sat on the rough by the fire. Obviously, he seemed rushed and curious for what had to come. His people were the prime target of the war but he wouldn't need to know of that.

Technoblade trusted him but he couldn't risk telling him the plans. If he did, he'd risk that Dream would escape back to his home kingdom just to tell them about the plans. Would make him lose all this prestige and his one and only.

"All the kingdoms have had made their own alliance. I wasn't told about the strategy or invasion plans, I was just told to follow the orders given at the moment."

"Did you just accept that? Don't u have the right to know?-- You are being played around, you like that shit? and for what exactly?"

"I'd have never met you" The only crackles that came were of the blazing oak by which sat the man he was so lost in. Red gaze peered back at him and he couldn't help but heat up at the stupid yet addictive response of his.

"You don't even know which kingdom you are gonna invade?" He broke the eye contact and instead started to run his sight up the trophy heads of different beasts that rested on the wall infront.

"I do, it's the kingdom of the goblins" The kingdom had been rather passive which would barely be of notice. It coming out all of a sudden uneased him with surprise. "Why this kingdom?"

"Well, they said that they needed more resources before invading any other kingdom and the goblins have just found a gold mine" So casual, it'd seem as if he were just some stupid follower that questioned non but Dream knew better than to think of that yet the terms seemed reasonable, out of ordinary, but what would you expect from times of wars and wrath?

"Seems about right..." he said as he fell to the comfort of the couch, glad that his home kingdom wouldn't get invaded and that his loved ones wouldn't get slaughtered by his lover; he could rest at ease.

"I bought you something" Technoblade made his way to the couch and sat next to the blond.

"Wha- what is it?" Dream was too sleepy to care but he spoke anyways.

Techno pulled out a gold necklace with a coin suspending from the chains. It glimmered on his sight, beautifully memorized next to the fire in the blurry background. "It's- beautiful" Dream spoke with a soft voice still penetrating his eyes to it.

"You like it?" Obviously, he did, he'd not even have the energy to rub his eyes yet at the sight of this he had energized to focus on it.

"How, and where did u get it?"

"I got it from a shop in the city" Techno continued "Now bend your head"

Dream as he bent his head, he felt the other overlap him and move around the back of his neck before feeling the necklace dangle from his neck. As he raised his head, he admired the cold golden necklace's charm and elegance.
