chapter 1

I still remember the first time I saw him, his eyes, the way he was dressed,  his aura, how he carries himself in every conversation his having, the confidence that he have, it was all so perfect

I couldn't take my eyes off him, he's truly mesmerizing, I didn't get why such a man like this exist right in front of eyes smiling and talking, I was inlove I know, I didn't even realize that my father is calling me,

Wait, I snapped to reality, I looked up and saw my father signaling me to come upstairs to talk, I smiled and nodded

Before going upstairs I took one last look of him. I was surprised to see him looking at me, our eyes met, he smiled and gave me a simple gesture and continued talking to his friends

My heart skipped a beat , that was it our first interaction, that simple smile and gesture made my heart beat so fast, it made me so happy

I went upstairs and saw my father in his office with some papers and one of his colleagues sitting in a chair

Pandora dear pls take a sit,

I sat down and looked at my father curious of what he was gonna tell me

This is Anton one of my business partners

He gestured to the guy sitting across me, I smiled at him and shook his hand

We have a very important announcement to you dear and I hope you won't take this as offense and know that i just want the best for yo-

Suddenly the door flung open, revealing him, my eyes widened and I felt happy seeing him

Oh! Great your here too Pandora dear this is Azazel, Anton's son and the heir of the Beischel seriano real estate company

I gave him a small nod and smiled, he did the same too, he sat on the chair next to me

Now that you too are finally here and you too finally saw eachother in person , I think this is the perfect time to announce about the marriage.

What marriage?,I said curiously

Let me finish first Pandora , my dad said strictly

Sorry dad... He sighed and continued talking

As I was saying, Pandora dear our company really needs some good asset's and by joining the Beischel seriano real estate company and Solylent corp. Our empire will grow, So me and Mr. Seriano here have decided that the most perfect way to join companies is by making my only daughter  Pandora Ceztia Aldine and Azazel Seriano husband and wife.

WHAT???!!! me and Azazel exclaimed

Dad you can't make me marry a girl I just met that's bullshit!,

Azazel this the only way we can join companies if u don't do this we will crumble into pieces. His dad explained but it's obvious that Azazel wasn't gonna listen to that

Dad can't we just join companies and not get married?? That's possible right?. I asked hoping that'll change their mind

Unfortunately no, we can't join companies unless you too get married, it's in the law. I stared at Azazel in disbelief he too looks stressed out, I know for myself that I'm not really against this arrangement, I love Azazel, I would love to be his wife and run this company with him but still I have to consider his feelings, I know he doesn't want to do this, I don't wanna force him, If this already makes him miserable now then we won't make this marriage happen.

I tried to convince my father to stop this arrangement and just think of other ideas to be able to help Azazel's company but it seems like it's the only way and we have no choice but to say yes to this

Fine we'll get married. Azazel said in defeat

Our dads cheered, I looked at him, He looks so miserable, I felt so bad for him.....

Okay now that we have your consent you too can spend some time together, lets go for a drink Anton. My dad said happily

We'll leave you two together now... Azazel's dad said, he tapped Azazel's shoulder and left with my dad leaving me and Azazel alone

The silence is so loud, I'm sitting while holding a wine glass in my hand while he's looking at a wall dazed, I decided to break the silence, I took a sip of my wine and spoke

If you don't wanna do this we can find a way to stop i-

Don't even try, they wouldn't take no for an answer. He cuts me off, he looked at me and sighed

Look I have a girlfriend and I don't wanna leave her for this dumb marriage. My heart broke a little hearing him say he's inlove with someone else.

Oh... I didn't know you have a girlfriend.. im sorry for that

Of course you wouldn't know we just met and don't be sorry I know you can't control this arrangement.

You can tell your dad that you have a girlfriend and maybe he'll stop this marriage?? He look at me disappointed

I tried that already but he didn't took it, my dad loves his company more than his own son he just told me to break up with her. He drank the wine he was holding and cleared out his throat

We have no choice but to make this work so let's just treat this as a business deal ok?  I looked at him and nodded, he smiled weakly and held out his hand,

I took his hand, smiled and shook it
