Tommy looked around, disorientated.

The smoke was blocking his vision and the ringing in his ears didn't help.

He was stumbling around, trying to find his friends.

Over the ringing, he could hear a loud scream.

"Tubbo?!" Tommy cried, head turning almost owl like.

Tubbo held the handle of George's sword with all his might, but George didn't seem to pull back.

"Tommy!" Tubbo answered, trying to avoid George's menacing glare.

This was it. He was done for.

No way could he overpower George.

Tubbo knew his death would be inevitable, but he hadn't assumed that it would happen so early in his life.

Tubbo  decided to glare right back at George. If he was going to die, he might as well make George feel just a little bad for killing a literal child.

Suddenly, George's grip loosened greatly, his head snapped to the west.

Tubbo grinned wildly.

"Hey! Over here!" A voice called from the smoke.

Another rock barrelled through it, finding its way to George's forehead.

He immediately lifted his axe.

"You little bitch!" George scowled.

Tubbo used his athletic skills to quickly escape from George's range; unnoticed.

George began to storm towards the smoke, axe ready to find itself in skin and bone.

Tubbo rushed up behind George, jumping onto his back and catching him in a headlock.

Fundy parted the smoke, arms full of sharp, grey rocks.

George tried to prey Tubbo of his back, face scrunching up with the contact of one of Fundys rocks.

Tubbo began to laugh. It was hilarious to watch George's angry grunts as his hands tried to pry at him.

Fundy threw one last rock at George's head with all his might.

George's head jolted backwards, causing Tubbo  to fall of with a slight "Ow!"

George fell to the ground, out cold.

Tubbo looked up at Fundy, his face red from exertion.

"Thanks man, like, really. I was seriously about to die there!" Tubbo chuckled, even though deep down his mind was forever scared with the feeling of 'I'm about to die'

"No problem!" Fundy smiled, offering Tubbo a hand which he gladly took.

The two of them stuck together, slowly gathering everyone.

First Wilbur, then Niki then Jack and finally Tommy.

The smoke finally cleared, then, they were able to find Dream and his group of goons.

They were standing at the gate, a single bunch of TNT before their feet.

George was propped up against the nearby wall, being tended to by BadBoyHalo.

Dream stood tall and mighty, picking the dirt from beneath his nails as if none of this even mattered to him.

Sapnap glared at them, seemingly annoyed at them for hurting George.

Punz was sizing them up. He was preparing a elaborate plan to kill them all, or maybe injure very bad, if that was what Dream wanted.

Wilbur and Dream began to argue. On one side, Dream wanted to burn L'manburg to the ground, making it apart of the greater Dream SMP. Wilbur wanted independence, free from Dreams tyranny.

One thing sparked everyone's attention.

The sound of TNT lighting.

"Oh, what's one piece of TNT going to do." Wilbur scoffed.

Dream began laughing, backing away to outside the gate.

Boom.

Then what seemed like 100 more booms followed.

Wilbur's eyes widened.

The six of them began running, anywhere away from the TNT.

Tubbo covered his ears, hiding behind a rock.

Niki and Jack managed to clamber up onto the walls, watching the destruction unfold.

Wilbur ran climbed into the van with Fundy. Trying his hardest to protect his son.

Tommy was still trying to escape the explosions.

It seemed like the TNT was following him, catching his ankles as he stumbled towards the wall.

He yelled.

His rib cage felt like it was breaking.

An explosion had hit his side and his back, launching him into the freezing water.

Tommy could still hear the explosions as he drifted deeper into the water.

A sudden realisation hit him.

I can't swim.

His vision began to blur, only seeing his hand desperately reaching out to the water. The water that was pushing him down with unbearable weight. The water that was killing him softly.

'Jack?'
'Niki?'
'Fundy..'
'Wilbur...'
'Tubbo...'

Tommy heaved, slowly opening his eyes to a void.

He jolted forward.

He felt no pain. His head was...empty.

A woman was sitting in front of him.

Kristin.

In all her glory.

"Mom?" Tommy gasped, suddenly being aware of his situation.

"Hello darling." She smiled, although sadness was hidden behind that sweet smile of hers.

"What's going on? What happened?" Tommy stuttered, tears pricking at the corners of his bright blue eyes.

"You....you are dead my love."Kristin's smile faltered.

"What? No, we won." Tommy sobbed, freely letting his tears fall.

"I'm sorry." Kristin opened her arms.

Tommy fell into her embrace. Motherly love was the one thing that lacked in his life, but it was more welcome now than ever.

The hug lasted for what seemed like hours. Tommy softly crying into his mother's long flowing sleeves.

"Can I stay here forever?" Tommy questioned through sniffles.

"No,not forever, dear." Kristin let a seldom tear slip down her cheek.

Tommy felt nothing.

Nothing at all.

All he saw was grass.

He lifted his head to see L'manburg.

But not his L'manburg.

The walls were crumbling, vines covered each of them.

The van was missing half of its back, revealing the mouldy mess inside.

Everything was overgrown, weeds grew like an infection in the grass, no flowers grey.

It constantly smelled like smoke.

He missed Tubbo. He missed their silly songs and jokes, he missed their long conversations on the bench.

He missed his brother. He missed Wilbur's songs, he missed every time Wilbur would ruffle his hair whenever he could.

He missed his family. He missed Technoblade. Tommy couldn't even remember the last time he heard from Techno. He missed Phil. His father. He missed when Phil would bring him the really heavy quilt when he was upset, and try his best to cheer him up.

He just wanted to go home.
