Insomniac : a Jack Gilinsky Fanfic

Entry Three

I actually came to school today, I'm sitting at my desk while my teacher is talking about some partner assignment, I looked up for a second because she started to say something off subject, "this is our new student, her name is Lauren Hernandez" I looked at her and her eyes were mesmerizing, her brunette hair wavy up to her chest, not that I was looking at her chest but that's how long her hair was. she was gorgeous.
"Lauren why don't you go sit next to Jack, you guys can work on the assignment together?" did mrs. Simon just say that? Did she really? I started to panic as I saw her glide towards the desk next to me, she smiled at me "Hey? so your place or mine?" in my head I felt like I was going to explode, "uh mine? If that's okay" she shook her head approving what I had said, And the class continued.

once the bell rang I quickly got up and ran to the quad for break, Johnson was already there waiting for me "hey man what's wrong??" he questioned sternly, "this new girl.." I couldn't catch my breath "what's up with that? you seemed like you've seen a ghost?" I laughed, "she's gorgeous and she's my partner?" Johnsons eyes widened "my point exactly"
I continued to tell him how nervous I was and he understood considering why would I even talk to a girl? I was too nervous.

school was about to end and I got up a second before the last bell rang, I walked towards the gates but I was stopped by a gorgeous sound "Jack!" I closed my eyes and turned around, it was her, her beautiful brown eyes looking into me, she smiled. "I thought I'd walk with you?" I could see all the jocks looking at us, looking at her wondering why she was with me. I asked myself too.

we walked to house and it was pretty quiet. she was sometimes ask me about the little things and I honestly didn't know how to answer her.
we worked on the assignment and kind of continued to talk.
she was so interested in me, I'm my life and I didn't know how to talk to her about it, I'd just write it down here.

It was starting to get late and she had to go, she kissed my cheek and she disappeared. it was crazy that I missed her already and I didn't even know her well. I think it's just because an actual person was interested in me, finally someone that cared, besides Johnson.

I laid in my bed, just looking at the wall. thinking of her. but then thinking how it won't last, soon she will realize that I'm not the one for her? how fucked up I really am. she will find out, she will soon see why I'm a loner.
today was her first day..she will know..
and that ate me up, it took over my thoughts. another night without sleep..
