Sophie finds Keefe in the Forbidden Cities. "Sophie? How did you find me?" Keefe asked.
"Keefe, we need to talk," Sophie said.
"Did you forget? I used to live in the Forbidden Cities. From what you said in your letter, I knew you'd be somewhere here." Sophie answered.
"You're right about that, but I'm doing this for you and our friends," Keefe said.
"Keefe, with your ability, we can stop the Neverseen!" Sophie said.
"But I can't control it. Every time I use it, something terrible happens to people. What if something I do is permanent?" Keefe said.
"Keefe, we won't let that happen! You have us, your friends! We can help you. You just need to accept our help. So stop moping! You're Keefe Sencen, my stubborn and lovable friend with an abnormal obsession with hair! So snap out of it, Lord Hunkyhair!" Sophie encouraged.
"Thanks for the pep talk, Foster. But I can't do that." Keefe said.
"Sheesh, even when you're moping, you're still stubborn," Sophie said.
"You got that. It's part of who I am." Keefe said with a half-smirk.
"Keefe, the truth is I have feelings for you I just discovered. Now I've finally realized you're more than a friend to me." Sophie confessed, her cheeks red.
"Sophie, I like you that way too. I've liked you ever since I met you." Keefe whispered, blushing.
"Keefe, I know that together we can defeat the Neverseen. Team Foster-Keefe will win!" Sophie said.
"Yeah, let's kick some Neverseen butt!" Keefe said.
Sophie leaned in, held her arms around Keefe's shoulders, and kissed him.
"Did you mind that I did that?" Sophie asked, embarrassed.
"No, that felt nice," Keefe said, his face flushed.
Suddenly, Gisela appeared. Cue: dramatic entrance. "Thanks for leading me to Keefe, Sophie. That was very helpful of you. Keefe, your transformation was only a step of your legacy. Your next step is to dethrone the current leaders of the Lost Cities. " Gisela exclaimed.
"Keefe won't do that. Our legacy is to defeat the Neverseen and usher in a new era of peace!" Sophie exclaimed.
"That's right! I won't be using my ability for you, Mommy Dearest. Freeze." Keefe agreed. Gisela froze.
"Let's confiscate her weapons and tie her up," Sophie said.
"Hey Ro? Could you tie up Mom of the Year here?" Keefe asked.
"Coming, Funkyhair," Ro replied and came over and tied up Gisela.
The gang(Sandor, Grizel, Fitz, Biana, Dex, Tam and Lihn) came over. They looked pretty beat up, and they had the struggling remaining members of the Neverseen: Vespera, Trix, Gethen, and Ruy in their custody. Keefe commanded them to sleep, and they slipped into unconsciousness.
"So now the Neverseen business is resolved. Will you be my boyfriend, Keefe?" Sophie asked.
"Yes," Keefe replied and kissed her passionately.
Fitz looked crushed.
"Looks like my boy is now dating our cute blondie. I won our bet, Gigantor! Now you have to get a Team Foster-Keefe Forever pink glitter tattoo!" Ro said, then snacked on buttlerblasts.
"You really placed a bet on us, Sandor," Sophie said, half mock hurt and half shocked.
"Yes, Miss Foster," Sandor admitted, looking ashamed.
"I knew it would happen similarly to this: Oh, Hunkyhair, I never knew you felt that way, even though it was ridiculously obvious to everyone else. And I've been in love with you forever- I just didn't know it because I've been wasting so much time crushing on Captain Perfect. Come here, let's do all the smooching ever! And that did happen." Ro said.
"Ro is sort of right, but she didn't have to phase it in such an embarrassing way," Sophie said.
"I'm glad you finally got out of your Adorable Queen of Obliviousness phase," Ro said.
"Looking back, I was pretty oblivious," Sophie admitted.
The gang light leaped back to the Lost Cities.
Sophie and Keefe are adults now. They got married and had kids, a girl and a boy.
