Earliest Memories

From what I've collected, thinking back on my early childhood, I really can't remember too much. But I guess that's why I'm making a journal. Anyways, my earliest memory was when I was just four years old I think, maybe younger.

I was riding my "Big Wheel" bike, a tricycle for toddlers with a large wheel in front. I know, pretty badass. Anyways, I remember falling off at "high" speeds and skidding across the pavement, and needing some first aid. Best First Memory Ever.

Another memory around that time is when I went to the doctor because I had an ear infection.

Something else I remember is coming home drenched in the rain one time with my mom.

I also remember my first video game system I've ever had in my room: A Nintendo 64, customized with a Pikachu on it. I loved Pokémon. I would play "Hey you, Pikachu" on that all the time, best game of my life.

I went to some silly pre-school, but everyone there loved Pokémon, so I loved that place. I was always too shy to say hi to the reception lady, so I always hid behind my Mom. They had bug exhibits where you could catch and place bugs like daddy-long-legs in, and I used to love that. I scribbled my first drawing there, (I don't even know what it was) and we'd always have to nap by listening to "In the Jungle." That place was the shit.

Then, my family moved to a different house.

This house was big and had a nice yard. My first surprise birthday party was there, and it was really cool. I got my first kite, but when I tried it out I unraveled it all the way and flew away into some woods. I was a toddler, I didn't know any better.

This other time, my dog, appropriately named Sugarbear caught a parakeet, and managed to keep it alive in her jaws. We had a new pet, and we named it Pichu.

We got Sugarbear from a friend of my Mom's, and they lived in some woods or something. They had a big TV, and I would always play some dinosaur game with my Mom's friend's son.

Back at the house, Dad set up an aquarium and we had some oscars living in there.

One time, my family had a party, and I happened to go downstairs and my Dad did a kick-up from his back to his feet, one of those Jackie Chan moves.

I got insanely dehydrated once, so I was taken to the doctors. I remeber watching "Milo and Otis" and having the best grape soda ever.

I remember staying home one time, and I got to watch a "Jimmy Neutron" movie, and that was either because I was sick or 9-11 happened. Easy to confuse the two, right?

The pre-school I went to that was closer to the new house was okay, I spent a lot of time with my childhood friend named Joseph Michael Carrico. The only reason I remember his full name was because he always got in trouble, and his mom alway shouted it at him. Anyways, that's where I played my first "Lava Monster" game. I think Pixar's "Monster's Inc" came out at around this time. Also, if you were being mean, you'd get sent to the "Crab-Shack" where mean kids got thrown in a room with feisty crustaceans. (Not really)

At this time, I still never slept alone, always with Mommy and Daddy, where I was safe and mean things couldn't get me.

And then one day, Daddy got a little too drunk, and Mommy wasn't happy. So my damn Mother snatched me and left my Father.
