Darryl's POV

I was getting ready for school but as I was changing I saw myself in the mirror. I hated how I had feminine body I was so disgusted of my self. Why couldn't I be born a boy. When I finished getting ready I saw my mom making my dad breakfast. "Would you like breakfast Annabeth?" "No thanks mum" I said as I walked out the door. When I got to school I made sure to get there early I didn't want to face him. "Where you going freak" I turned over to see one of his friends George. "I was just-" I was punched. He then grabbed me by my neck and pushed me towards the wall then began punching me even more. I started crying cause of all the pain. "Oh hey Zak, just beating up this freak" "Let me have a turn" He then grabbed my throat I couldn't breathe. Then I passed out.

Zak's POV
"Holy shit she passed out" I began to panic what did I do "We have to take her to the nurse" I picked him up and brought her to the nurses.I ended up skipping class. "What happened.." I turned over to see Annabeth awake. "Thank god you're okay" "What are you doing here you hurt me.." It was quite for a while then for some reason she hugged me. "Why did you hurt me?" "I didn't want to get bullied ether, I actually think you're pretty cool" "I think I can forgive you but please don't hurt me anymore" "I promise"
