"The Pharmacist"

Chapter 10

Just like other days, Mew went to the pharmacy to work. A lot of thoughts on his mind. But as always, he's trying his best to forget the heavy feelings and just be happy. Gulf loves him and will never leave him, that's what matters.

Earlier...

"Mew, there will be a gathering again at home. A celebration for the newest branch of Kanawut's hospital. I won't be bringing the kids because I don't plan to stay long..."

"Its okay. I heard everything, no need to explain anymore. You can go. Enjoy." Mew said sincerely pecking Gulf on his cheeks.

Sorry Mew, I don't mean to lie. I just don't want you to feel troubled.

Gulf entered the mansion wearing an all black americana. As usual he's looking extremely cute and adorable. Everyone stares at him smiling. Thinking to themselves taht 'too bad this guy is taken already'

He greeted his family one by one giving them recognition. He saw on his peripheral vision a person he doesn't want to see and talk to so he tried to escape by getting food but the guy still followed making him feel a little nervous and irritated.

"Hi Gulf. Its good to see you again. Damn, you're still a beauty." Neil, one of their investors son and his ex during high school said.

"Oh, hi. I never thought you will always be present in this occasions. Aren't you busy? You know celebrities supposed to have a packed schedules right?" Gulf sarcastically said. He's really threatened by this guy hanging around him. What a shameless jerk.

" Well, I am busy. But I know taht you will come. And I don't want to waste seeing your beautiful face and curves. " Neil said in a flirtatious manner. Gulf got furious with taht and just decided to walk out of that bastard, he doesn't want to cause a scene and to be the subject of the gossip. Meanwhile, the other guy just smirk and take a sip of his wine.

"Mom, dad, I'll be going now. Congratulations again. Thank you for inviting me." Gulf said giving his parents a warm hug.

"Neil!" his father called out. Making his brows arched.

"Neil you're also going now right? Can you pls drop Gulf." Neil smiled and stares at Gulf and offer his hand but Gulf just walk passed by him totally ignoring him. He waved goodbye again to his parents.

"Are you not coming in?" Neil asked waiting for Gulf  in the car.

"Will you stop? You know I hate you right? So can you pls just leave me alone!" Gulf said as a matter of factly.

"Is it because I cheated on you back then. I'm sorry okay. Can't we just start over." Neil shamelessly asked. Gulf slapped him hard.

"Just so you know the only thing I can feel to you is hatred. So pls stop with this bullshit. I have husband and kids and they're the only people I cared." Gulf said it straight to Neil's face with conviction. Making Neil heaved a sigh.

"Seems like I really have no choice." Neil said in a low voice and grab Gulf's hair and slammed his lips to his. That only lasted for two seconds because a hard punch landed starught to his face courtesy of Mew. Mew stared at Gulf sharply before carrying him like a sack.

At home, Gulf was crying hard making the kids awake. He begged for forgiveness to his husband. Mew wasn't saying anything. His hands are trembling, the image of Gulf kissing another man keeps replaying on his mind like a broken cassette. If it wasn't for Gulf's scared face he will literally ruin that bastards face.

"Mom, what's wrong? Dad, what is happening?" the kids asked sleepily. They hugged Gulf and patted his back.

"Pls go back to bed now, Annie and Lewis it's late." Mew said sternly.

"But dad, mom is..." Lewis try to speak but the intense glare from his dad make him back off and oblige. Annie followed too.

"Mew, I know it's my fault. I'm really sorry. I didn't mean to lie. I just don't want you to feel troubled so..." Gulf explained sobbing.

"I trusted you. I never doubted you. But this is more than enough reason for me to question my worth to you." Mew said brimming with tears. Gulf shake his head sobbing.

"If I didn't show up their we don't know what else can he do to you. And after taht what? you won't tell me. You will lie again and keep it a secret. Do you know this is the first time that I feel the urge to kill someone." Mew said turning his back, Gulf hugged him from behind still crying hard.

" Mew, I'm really sorry. Please give me a chance. I promise not to do this anymore. I promise that I will be 100% honest with you from now on. And don't you ever think that I have anything to do with that bastard. You're the only one for me. I love you so much. Pls belive me. Pls turn around and say you love me too. Pls Mew" Gulf said crying non stop. Mew heaved a deep sigh accompanied by tears and turned around.  He held Gulf's face and kissed him.

"I'm the only one who's allowed to do this, okay?" Mew said crying, smiling. Gulf nodded enthusiastically.

"I love you too so much." Mew added.
