william woke up and got dressed as usual. As he walked out of his room, his mom, zoey, stopped dead in her tracks.
"Ah! You're awake," she smiled.
"yea i decided to get to bed early for once," william responded.
"your aunt cathy is making breakfast, you should go down and say good morning to everyone."
"alright, i'll do that."
"Love ya mom," william smiled and hugged her.
"aww, i love ya too love!" zoey hugged him back.
when william walked into the kitchen he could see his dad, willow, and uncle trey glaring at each other from across the table. william rolled his eyes, here we go again he thought as he looked around the room and noticed no-one else was in the room other than himself, willow, uncle trey and aunt cathy.
"hey dad?" william started, leaning up against the wall and putting his foot on it for support,
"Where is everyone else?" he asked.
"First of all get your foot off the wall, and second, i think you're one of the first ones up," willow answered.
"Oh," william responded, taking his foot off the wall.
"ZILLOW FLORENCE MASTERS GET OUT OF BED THIS INSTANT!" zoey yelled.
"sounds like the banshee finally snapped," uncle trey snarled in a comment.
At that exact moment, william knew that was his cue to leave. he un-propped himself from the wall and walked out as willow sprang up from her chair and slammed the table in rage.
william closed the kitchen door just in time to hear;
"DON'T INSULT MY WIFE YOU CRETON!" willow was clearly pissed.
william decided to go upstairs and check on zoey and zillow.
william knocked on his sister's door, hesitantly.
"yes?" zoey answered from inside.
"can i come in?" william asked.
"You may!"
As william opened the door he heard zillow growling and barking.
"Your sister is being a bit stubborn," zoey sighed.
"Oh," william responded.
"want me to do anything?"
"You could go and wake up your cousins."
Ok then," william responded before walking out of zillow's room.
william walked into his room and started searching for something. He gasped as he hastily dug through a box of pointless junk living under his bed that he thought he'd gotten rid of by now. after about a second of digging, william pulled out a tambourine. He raised his hand triumphantly as a way of showing his accomplishment.
Hell yea it's tambourine time, william thought as he shoved the box of junk back under his bed and got up, pushing back the thought that he needed to solve his hoarding issue.
as william tip-toed into his cousins' room, he noted how peaceful they looked, so peaceful in fact that a part of william didn't want to wake them up while the other part wanted to destroy their peaceful serenity.
pushing away the urge to let his cousins sleep, william raised the hand holding his tambourine high above his head and sucked in his breath, preparing to make an outburst loud enough to wake up his cousins, keep willow and uncle trey from screaming at each other for at least a minute, and to distract zillow enough to where zoey could pull her out from under her bed. william paused, hesitant to do what he was considering, but the choice was made. in one swift movement, william relaxed the mussels in his arm, slamming the tambourine against his other hand.
"Get the fuck up!" he sang as he slapped and shook the tambourine.
william's cousins got up one by one, some looking tired.
"bianca was getting her beauty sleep!" one of william's cousins, bianca whined as another cousin, syl pulled her out of bed by the hand.
"Couldn't william have given her 5 more minutes?" bii continued.
"I *just* fell asleep william, what gives?!" another one of william's cousins, juliet groaned as she swiftly and gracefully slid down the wooden ladder of her bunk bed.
"Mmmmmmorning willsy," william's last cousin, aleix greeted in his calm, soothing voice as he got up and dragged his feet over to the dresser (william always related aleix's voice back to a lullaby or laying in bed when you're really tired after a long day). As aleix rummaged through his clothing drawer, juliet climbed back up to her bunk bed and silenced the soft, warm and welcoming glow of her fairy lights.
"Hey al, could you toss me my bandage shirt and that pair of sleeves that match the skirt i like?' juliet requested as she dug about her bed looking for something.
"Here." aleix answered as he tossed a messy clump of fabric up to juliet's bed without looking.
"Thanks man!" juliet smiled as she caught the mess of fabric before suddenly darting her hand into her bed, pulling it back up just as fast and throwing something at the wall.
"I FOUND MY FUCKING GOGGLES BITCHES!" juliet screamed as she threw her arms up triumphantly. (bruh there are two girls next to me screeching like fucking banshees) juliet dropped her arms and crawled over to the edge of her bed before changing positions and lifting her short, slender legs over her unrailed bed (which william always thought was a hazard considering how figity juliet gets in her sleep) and pushing herself off, landing perfectly on her feet.
"And she sticks the landing!" juliet proudly declared before gracefully darting toward her goggles, clothes in hand.
William decided to leave them to their chaotic shenanigans while he went to put his tambourine away.
William entered his room and had to take a breather. He never had such an eventful morning and if the kid he saw at school yesterday was as alluring as he imagined, william would be in trouble. he never got distracted a day in his life, and he can't let some teen vogue cover pretty boy stop that streak. william quietly cursed himself for letting himself get off track so easily as he pulled the box of junk out from under his bed and put his tambourine in it. nudging the box of junk under his bed with his foot, william walked out of his room and made his way toward the kitchen.
the moment william entered the kitchen, he was greeted by a screaming competition.
"SO YOU GET TO INSULT MY WIVES BUT WHEN I CALL YOURS A BANSHEE, YOU YOU START A FUCKING ARGUMENT?!" trey yelled in rage.
"I NEVER INSULTED SALLY OR CATHY A DAY IN MY LIFE OR WHEN THE JOINED THE SILVER PAW!"
"OH REALLY?! THATS FUCKING BULLSHIT WILLOW AND WE BOTH KNOW IT!" trey slammed his hands on the table.
nither seemed to notice william walk in. he groaned and covered his ears as cathy turned her head to him, seeming to notice his discomforted face. cathy grabbed her walkie-talkie and held down the talk button, smiling at william with don't worry your mother will be here to settle this written on her face. William smiled back and nodded, still covering his ears. cathy let go of the button, put the walkie-talkie down and went back to making breakfast. About 2 minutes of yelling and screaming later, the familiar sounds of the double doors flinging open made itself known. zoey looked pissed, really pissed.
"willow, what have i said about arguing with trey?" zoey asked, a hint of anger in her normally calm and graceful british accent.
"To try and stop," willow responded, dropping her ears seemingly in shame.
"What was it about this time?" zoey sighed, wrapping her arm around willow's waist as a silent apology.
"Trey called zoey a banshee," cathy said as she dished out breakfast onto plates.
"Oh well that uhm... that might be at least a bit of a justified reason to start an argument," zoey put her hand to her chin in a thoughtful manner.
"I was just defending your honor," willow justified.
"Oh and i can't defend my wives' honor?!" trey snapped, clearly still mad about the argument.
"like i said, i never insulted cathy *or* sally1!" willow exclaimed.
Everyone else could tell another argument was bubbling to the surface.
Delphine walked in and without missing a beat she said, "willow! Do not start another argument!"
"but maman-" willow attempted to save herself from delphine's wrath. "Ah ba ba ba! I don't want to hear it!" delphine cut willow off, waving a hand in front of her face.
"Ugh fine!" willow exclaimed, plopping back in her chair, slumping down and crossing her arms. (i don't think i mentioned that delphine only speaks french and willow, zoey, will, william, and zillow understand her and they respond in french)
"Good, maybe you and trey should go out for coffee to get to know eachother better," delphine suggested.
"Oh that sounds like a good idea, delphine!" zoey agreed, pulling out the chair next to willow and sitting down.
Cathy walked over to william and when she got close she leaned down and bent her knees slightly so she could be at his level.
"May cathy ask what they're talking about?" she asked in a hushed tone.
"Grand-mère is suggesting uncle trey and dad go get coffee together," william translated in the same tone.
"Ok thank you."
Cathy walked away and picked up the plates of food one-by-one and placed them in front of each seat and once she was done, she walked over to the sink and grabbed the kitchen sponge to start washing dishes.
While cathy was cleaning the pots and pans she was cooking on, the kitchen's double doors once again flung open and someone trekked inside.
"Mornin' sally," willow greeted, rearranging the food on her plate.
"Whoa what happened? You look like death," trey pointed out, not really watching what he was saying.
"Yea, feel like it too," sally responded in a pissed off tone.
"Uhm sally did you stay up late recording again?" zoey asked as she got up and walked over to her friend.
"I was rehearsing with felix and we lost track of time," sally clarified, running her fingers through her sloppy hair.
"Lemme guess, you have a concert today or tomorrow, no?"
"Yup it's at 4 today," sally answered as she sat down next to trey and rested her head on his shoulder.
Willow pulled out her phone and unlocked it, putting down her fork and forgetting all about her food. She brought up her other arm to type some things and after a few seconds she turned her phone off and stuffed it back in her pocket.
Willow got up and scooped the half-asleep skunk into her arms.
"C'mon you're going back to bed," willow commented as she started walking towards the door.
"No! I need to go over my songs!" sally protested, as she tried to squirm out of willow's arms.
"No buts, you're going back to bed," willow's stubbornness kicked in and she shoved open one of the double doors with her foot and walked out.
willow came back into the kitchen after about 2 minutes and right after she sat down in her chair, william's 4 cousins walked in one-by-one and sat down at the table, greeting everyone as they did so. zillow, will and fillip walked just seconds after each other, also greeting everyone before they sat down.
cathy put sally and felix's food into containers before sitting down next to trey. as Trey, cathy and bianca started praying the others couldn't help but follow along. after praying and eating, william, zillow and their cousins stood up and walked over to the sink to wash their plates.
"You should get ready, you have 10 minuets," delphine commented, glancing at her phone.
"Ok, thank you grand-mère!"
"Uhm... bianca doesn't know if this is polite but," bianca hesitated to ask william.
"What was miss arquette saying?" she finally spat out.
"She said we have 10 minuets to get ready," william answered, pulling his shoes on.
"Really? If thats true then thank you william, bianca is going to tell the others!" bianca thanked before hurrying off to let william's cousins know what she had just learned.
as william finished getting ready at the front door, sylvie strolled up to him.
"greetings william!" she smiled as she dropped down in front of her shoes to slip them on.
"Mornin' sylvie," william replied as he took his phone from his pocket and put his headphones on over his ears. William turned on the headphones and unlocked his phone before selecting pandora and selecting 'cavetown radio' then turning his phone off and tucking it safely back into his pocket. After 5 minutes everyone was waiting for zoey to get downstairs so she could walk them halfway to school like usual, but instead delphine walked over to them and waved with a smile.
"grand-mère, what are you doing here? Isn't mom supposed to walk us to school?" william asked, pretending to be confused.
"I don't know, why would you ask if you already know the answer?"
"Are you psychic?' zillow looked up at her grandmother.
"i have had plenty of time in this world to know if someone is lying or knows the answer to the question they're asking," delphine answered, intertwining her fingers and lifting them up to her chin while smiling.
The others looked confused, wondering what the three of them were saying.
"Huh, that's a reasonable answer i guess."
"Well i guess it wouldn't hurt for you to hear again," delphine sighed, dropping her hands from her chin.
"your mother is tired, she is on the verge of burning out. I'm simply taking off the weight of walking you kids to school! Now shall we get going?"
"yea, let's go," william and zillow answered her as zillow got off the floor.
"C'mon guys, our grand-mère is taking us this morning," william translated the point of the conversation.
"Oh, really?" juliet asked, pulling herself from the wall and walking over to him. the rest followed delphine until they could catch up to her and match her oddly fast walking speed, but william and zillow didn't need to because they matched her walking speed, but it's normal for a gay to walk at that speed. As the group approached the halfway point, delphine asked
"is this where your mother parts ways with you?"
"Yea, you don't have to walk to the exact same spot, don't worry." Delphine nodded, sill walking. When the group got to the usual stop, delphine suddenly spoke out
"well, this is where zoey usually leaves you, so i will follow suit."
delphine waved before turning on her heel and walking away.
Well that just happened...

( word count 2448. dude this took so long to write 😩 but i swear it gets better, hornier and gayer)
