This is the first tip that I can share to all of you. So, everytime you write whether it is short story of novel be aware to your whole story. Know your PURPOSE. We know about it, but as a writer or even you are just a reader they have a purpose why they write or read.
Always remember that the purpose that you have will be connected to your story. Don't limit yourself for discovery, exploring and the lesson that you will give to your readers. Also, I want to share the two things that I really want to her novels;
The Morning Pages and The Artist's Date.
These two things helped me a lot, I write everyday and I give time in every tasks or something that I need to do.
But wait, What is The Morning Pages and The Artist's Date?
The Morning Pages means three pages of
longhand writing, strictly stream-of-consciousness while The Artist's Way An artist date is a block of time, perhapstwo hours weekly, especially set aside and committed to nurturing your
creative consciousness, your inner artist.
Anyone can do it, not only for artist or even you are a writer. It is very helpful to maximize your capacity and to improve your skills as well.
And lastly, when you have PURPOSE you have your destination and motivation to finish it.
Just a friendly reminder, always know your purpose. Have good intention and share your insights.
