Natasha had heard from the others about Loki's sudden change, Thor easily explaining it as normal, expressing mild surprise that it hadn't happened sooner, and requesting that they should just 'address her as what she is, and they shouldn't have any issues.'
Natasha finally saw him- or her- later that evening. The team was sharing a few drinks and classic banter while Loki sat at the bar.
Natasha moved behind the bar counter, looking to make a cocktail for herself. She eyed Loki across the counter, finally getting a good look at her. She was definitely more feminine, even without the makeup, but you could still make out Loki's features. Their cheekbones, their eyes, their hair; all familiar and distinct.
Loki's eyes caught Nat's, seemingly asking 'Yes?'
"So," Natasha said, "heels, right?"
Loki's eyes flashed with mild confusion before hiding any emotion at all. "Indeed," she answered simply. She took a sip before adding, "Breasts, correct?"
Natasha took a sip of her own drink. "Correct." The two looked at one another with an odd, mutual respect, before Loki returned to her book.
Clint slowly turned to the rest of the team, "Did-do they just have some secret code going on or..." Thor just shrugged, looking as confused as Clint was.
The two women looked at the group before sharing another one between them. "Men," they both said simultaneously, smirking into their drinks and ignoring the offended "Hey!" in the background.
