Prologue

Victoria Morgan, a girl of thirteen, woke up to the pleasant music of the chirping of insects on a Friday summer morning. She was excited to get through school, and enjoy the weekend. She would frolick in the woods with her new best friend, Katie Campbell who had moved in to her town just a week ago from somewhere in the Caribbean.

There was an unbelievable sense of perfection her new friendship. Every moment was enjoyable- They absolutely loved each other's company. What more could she ask for? She had everything she wanted. She was part of a wealthy yet kind and considerate family. She always got good grades, and although she didn't like to brag about it, an extremely attractive personality helped her attain very close bondage to many people.

"Vicky, breakfast's ready! Quickly get ready for school and come eat!", said her mother. Victoria woke up from her daydream and hurriedly got ready for school. She had just finished eating the delicious sandwiches her mother had made for breakfast. Then the doorbell rang. It was Katie."Come on Vicky, we don't wanna be late for school!"

Vicky excitedly waved a goodbye to her mother and ran off to school with Katie.
