Hu Tao x Xiao Headcanons!

Xiao POV.

"I'm Mr Lonely.... " I spoke to myself, Regretting my choice and how I've hurt her. And how my actions made such and impact toward the both of us.

I stood across the Geo Archon who prefers to be called Zhongli. He's one of three people I can talk too. I started to talk to him about what happened between me and Hu Tao.

[ A few days earlier ]

[Third POV]

Xiao snapped his eyes opened in the midnight and noticed that Hu Tao wasn't by his side. He could've sworn he was dreaming for her to stay by his side. Xiao moved up from the sheets that were entangled with his legs, abandoning the once warm bed and walking up to the balcony she had.

He stood there tracing his memory a few months back, tryna figure out what he did to make it go bad. Ever since Hu Tao left him, he's whole life- no world came crashing and reminded him on how lonely he'll always be. Mr. Lonely....

After Hu Tao's disappearance, most of Liyue called the Adepti, Mr. Lonely. Xiao, himself even couldn't believe he would ever had a girl like Hu Tao and he made the worst choice to let her walk right out of his life. 

After they been through together, She stuck around and stayed by his side. But What really hurt Xiao was that he broke her heart, girl she was the best girl and he had no right. He really wanna make things right, cause to Xiao without Hu Tao in his life, that Adepti is so lonely. Without her in his life, Xao has nobody to call his own.

He's been all over Liyue  and Xiao has never met a girl that can take the things that he and Hu Tao been through. They both never thought the day would come where one of them would get up and run, but always the one would be chasing the other.

There's ain't nowhere in Teyvat they rather be, Xiao would see it with the girl of his dreams that made him so happy but now so lonely. The Adepti never thought that he'd be alone again and that Hu Tao would be gone for so long. All Xiao wants is Hu Tao to answer his letters, to make sure she's safe.

"SO STOP PLAYING AND COME BACK HOME, TAO!" The Adepti's mind shouted for her to return, even if she wouldn't hear his call, he'll always hear hers. Her cheerfulness and humorous jokes left Xiao's heart with the desire to hear her voice say things even if it was the last thing.

[ Xiao's POV / Present Time ]

It's been so long since her return. Most of the people in Liyue are happy that she's gone. Zhongli sipped on his tea and gave a somewhat glad facial expression. "Ara ara, is my Adepti calling for me since my leave?" The sound of her cheerfulness rang in my ears. I turned around to see the same director of the Wangshnn Funeral Parlor with the rather fine fitted hat. My own body's reaction ran to the Director and placing her in a tight embrace.

"It's fine now, my Adepti... You did well..." Hu Tao's hand patted my back as I let the over flow of emotions fall on her shoulder.

I'm glad to know that she didn't forget about me and left me alone forever. But what I'm mostly glad about is that she's safe and back in my protection.
