Break-ups and alcohol DON'T mix

I was slightly stunned, and was currently laying on a couch, with a boy curled up on my stomach, kinda like a cat. I ran my fingers through his light brown hair, all the while staring at the ceiling.

Now how did it come to this?
--------------------

"I hate you!" I heard a girl yell, presumably Phillip's new ex-girlfriend. I peeked over the couch for a better view of what was going on. I was quite used to the whole situation, as the same thing happened every three weeks or so. Phil sucked at not getting dumped. The door slammed shut with a loud bang, and Phillip groaned. I watched him do the same thing as always. He grabbed a tub of ice cream and a bottle of alcohol, and sat beside me.

"Man, Phil. You have a drinking problem," I said in a nonchalant voice, sitting on the couch normally again and turning on the television.

"I can't help it, it takes the pain away!" He whined, taking a sip from the bottle while opening the tub of ice cream.

"If you finish the ice cream again, I will be seriously pissed off," I stated, and he nodded.

After about ten minutes of Phil drinking and eating obsessively, he took a pause.

"Fuck, stupid braifreezes," my roommate groaned, placing both his hands on his forehead.

"I told you not to eat so fast," I mumbled quietly, too busy watching The walking dead to care sincerely about Phil's braifreezes. He slumped, dropping an empty tub of ice cream onto the ground and groaned.

"Ugh, maybe I'm gay," he muttered, looking at me. I simply nodded, pretending to listen to what he has to say. I glanced at him, and Phillip was looking at me with a strange expression. He leaned in near my face, staring right into my soul with those emerald eyes of his.

"Would you quit staring at me? It's weird," I stated, growing sheepish. Phil seemed to be growing closer, and I backed away, eventually ending up on my back with the boy practically on top of me. He let out a snicker.

"Oh god, Jake! You get scared so easy!" He said between laughs. I crossed my arms, a bit angry now.

"Get the fuck off me, now," I growled in the most menacing voice possible, glaring at my roommate. Phillip laughed for a bit longer, before finally stopping.

"Aww, is baby mad?" He asked, talking to me as if I was a two month old. His body was still on top of me, sitting on my stomach now.

"Get off me! You're heavy, you bastard!" I exclaimed, trying to push the heavier man off me. Phil leaned in, giving me a peck on the lips. I immediately felt my face turn hot, and he had a large grin adorning his features. He got off me, sitting on the couch again.

"Yep, I think I am gay," Phillip stated, licking his lips. "I'm ninety-nine percent sure," he said, looking at me. I was still blushing madly, too baffled for words.

"D-don't test your gayness out on me!" I yelled, punching him in the arm with all my strength. He simply laughed again. The kiss was actually quite nice, with a sweet taste caused by the ice cream. I'll get my revenge! I wrapped my arms around his neck, pulling him towards me until our noses touched. Phillip seemed a bit startled at first, but didn't actually seem to mind, with that condescending smirk playing on his lips. I'll get rid of that goddamn smirk!

"I suppose you want me to kiss you again, don't you?" He purred, looking straight into my brown eyes. Oh fuck, this is not going as planned. My body seemed to react on its own, pulling him closer and pressing my lips against his. Phil's hands were tangled in my blond hair, deepening the kiss a bit. As I opened my mouth to breath a bit, he slipped in his tongue. I bit down the hardest I could. Phillip helped in pain, pulling away. Oh god, I bit him. Fuck. I suck at this. He had one hand covering his mouth, and the other on my shoulder.

"Goddammit, Jake! You bit me!" He stated the obvious, his voice muffled by his hand. He seemed to be close to crying, and looked quite cute with a red face and brown locks of hair falling in front of his eyes.

"Sorry, I-it's a reflex," I flashed him a sheepish smile, and a deathly silence ensued. It was the most awkward minute of my life. Suddenly, I felt myself getting pushed onto my back, with my wrists pinned each side of my head.

"I am SO getting you back for that," Phil said, back to his usual mischievous self. I squirmed underneath him, attempting to free my hands. He yawned, and laid down on top of me. "You know what? Never mind, too tired," Phillip mumbled. He quickly fell asleep after that, snoring quietly.

What the fuck?
