01: Love At First Sight

You are working at your desk as always.

You worked as a secretary since years for Mr. Kim, but today you will be getting a new boss and a new CEO as Mr. Kim is retiring. Mr. Kim is a really nice and friendly boss and you're just hoping that the new one will be nice too. As per the rumours, the new boss will be Mr. Kim's son whom you never saw before as he was apparently abroad for business studies.

After some more minutes, you stopped working and went to join your colleagues in the main hall as it was already time for the new CEO to arrive.

*Y/N pov*
I made my way to the main hall and went to my friends to wait for the new CEO.
"Hey you ok Y/N? You look quite nervous," my cousin, Jaemin said.

"Yea, you sure you will be able to go greet him properly?" Ryujin asked a lil bit worried.

"Yea, lil bit anxious but I'm okay, no worries," I replied.

"It's understandable, it's your first time greeting a CEO" Soobin said, "Anyways, good luck," he added,

"Yea, thanks, I guess?"

Soon we saw an expensive black looking car stopped infront of the building. And an attractive handsome man entered the building and we all bowed down to welcome him.

"Good morning everyone, nice to meet you'all. I'm Mr. Kim, Kim Taehyung, the new CEO," he said.

I made my way towards him and said in a friendly yet professional manner as I bowed,
"Goo morning Mr. Kim. I'm Min Y/N, your secretary, nice to meet you sir. Please come, your office is this way," I said as he nodded and I started walking while he followed.

We both kept silent, took the elevator and entered in his office.
"This is your office sir and here, your schedule for today," I said as I handed him his schedule.

"If you need anything just ask or call me," I continued and made my way towards the door, " I'll go n-".

"Before you go, I have a question" he cut me off.
"Yes sir, wht is it?" I replied as I turned around and face him.

"Are you single?" he continued.

". . . W-what?" I replied confused and not sure of what I just heard.

". . . I meant do you have a boyfriend? Or husband? Are you single?" he repeated himself.

"With all due respect sir . . . I separate my personal life with work. I would like it if I don't get any personal questions during work time," I honestly replied as keeping my personal matters and work separate make me more efficient and stay professional at work.

"Oh, I understand, I was just curious." he said with a disappointed look on his face.

". . . . . Y-yea, I have a boyfriend," I lied.

"Oh really?. . . Okay. Anyway, leave now," he demanded and I did so.

*Tae pov*
She is charming and nice. Why did I even ask her this stupid question?! What was I even thinking?!! Of course! Of course she has a boyfriend! I must had made her feel uncomfortable and she must be thinking that her boss is a strange guy. . .

*Y/N pov*
I went out of his office and went back at my desk.
"So?" Soobin asked.

"So? What?" I replied confused.

"What happen with Mr. handsome?" he
continued.

"What happen? tell us! Is he nice? Or rude? What did he say?," Ryujin asked curiously.
