A group of cats, a small one maybe 20 were a close tight knit group of cats, they had no leader and we're all friends, comrades. Well, 19 of them were, the last one was different, he acted the same as everyone, pretending to be their friends. But with a small of group 4 other cats that were extremely loyal to him he controlled everything, not in a bad way though. He made sure all foxes were not able to harm the others, he made sure no dogs or twolegs stumbled into their home. He was a diluted brown tom, he had hazel eyes with green around his pupil. His sleek fur made him look huge. One day after walking around patrolling he saw something in the sky, it was a speck and far away but it was falling. He was thrown into a tree as it hit the ground, shocked by how powerful it was even that far away. The next thing he knew he woke up to yowls, he recognized them, his friends! No he was meant to protect them! He stumbled up and hazily walked toward his home. Eyes widening as his vision was fuzzy but he was twolegs in weird yellow suits picking up his friends and throwing them into cages, each one hitting the side with a loud TWACK and then they threw the cages into a large monster, they were just throwing g his friends his family around like they were mossballs! This angered the Tom who started running to the nearest twoleg who was taking the youngest of the group a kit! He almost made it, just a bit closer, he yowled loudly, angrily. "Run!" He screeched to the kit while the twoleg was distracted. "GET AWAY FROM MY FRIENDS YOU MANGEPELT!" He yowled at the twoleg, and as he leaped up at it suddenly he felt a large object hit his side, and a big CRACK sound was emitted as the Tom was thrown against a tree again, he looked around hazily, his vision getting darker, and all he could do was watch as the twolegs captured everyone he knew throwing them hard into the mess of cages in the back of the monster, and he was the last one. One of the twolegs started toward him with the last cage and he hissed up at them, trying to swat them away. But the twoleg sounded angry as they gripped him hard by his back and threw him into the crate. The Tom was in so much pain as his spine hit the side of the cage, the wind knocked out of him again. And he felt the cage go into the air as they tossed it hard into the monster before shutting the doors, the Tom fought sleep, he had to feel the pain as it was his fault everyone else was captured. He felt his cage slide too and fro as cages tumbled around him. Was this it? To die in a twoleg trap in a monster. He said his goodbyes softly as his vision went black.
Head throbbing in more pain then he was ever in before the Tom woke up, twolegs were in bright white clothes and he was in a bright white room, he tried to fight them off but he was tired and he wasn't able to move anything for some reason, they grabbed a sharp thing and injected it in him, he just watched with hate and contempt as they walked around to something behind him, but he never saw what happened to him as his vision went black
New POV
A cat woke up on a hard metal surface, he was confused and loopy, he saw his friends Looked around he saw 18 other cats, but they weren't his friends, well most of them. Only 2 were. He called out softly "Hello? Kin, Petal?" The gray Tom (Kin) and the fluffy brown tabby (petal) looked around "Rook? Rook where are you? I can't see you, who are these random cats?" Rook, one of the toms from the group. His best friends didn't even recognize him? "What do you mean? I'm right here?" His voice was hoarse, he looked down at his paws in sadness, but as he looked down he saw paws, not his paws, but gray paws, he reeled back but they were his paws, but not his paws HIS paws were white. "What's going on.." he said quietly
