Twenty One (JH)

Hoseok is the first one to enter the hotel. Yoongi told him they would be waiting in the lobby but he wasn't expecting to find them like this. The distance between the two is very little. They're holding hands and the one that seems to close the distance between them is Jimin. Maybe because what he felt last night after sharing his whole truth for the first time got him all sensitive. Hobi walks up to them and stands a few steps behind, giving them space.

- I guess you guys had a good night

Only after realizing Hobi is staring at their hands, they let go. Jimin wasn't even thinking about it. He woke up like that and they kept it that way through the day. Internally hating himself for ruining their moment, he finally makes the proposal.

- Jimin...we talked today and...we were wondering if you would like to...you know. Come back with us?

- Wait, really?! I thought you were here to bring the things Yoongi left behind!

- Oh, no! We just...ugh, we felt bad for kicking you out. We acted out of an impulse and we didn't even ask for an explanation

- No, it's okay. I understand. I probably looked like a crazy asshole

- You didn't - Yoongi interrupts - You don't look scary to us. Right, Hoseok?

The tone in his voice lets Hobi know he has to nod. Truth is, he was scared at the moment. But it still didn't feel like the right decision.

- I know you and the rest want an explanation. But...I can't give it to you. It's a tiring thing to do. Honestly, telling Yoongi about it already drained me.

- Oh, well there's no pressure! We just wanna make sure everything will be okay

- It will, I promise. I'll make sure he's okay - Yoongi states - And I'll take responsibility for anything going wrong.

Jimin doesn't know why he said that. Why he keeps treating him with so much care. But he can't help to smile wondering if maybe there's other people in the world besides his childhood crush. After getting their things from the room, they walk out of the hotel where Tae and Kook are waiting for them. Jungkook helps them with the bags but Tae stays behind staring at Jimin. Feeling those eyes on him, the blond gets closer to him not knowing what to expect. Suddenly, the tears in Tae's eyes start falling again just like they did the night before.

- I-I'm sorry

- Hey! Don't cry! Why are you sorry?!

- I w-walked away f-from you, I'm so s-sorry

- Oh, Tae bear! Don't worry! I know why you did it...I was zoning out but it won't happen again! I won't scare you again I promise!

Once again, he doesn't say what he was really afraid of. But at least he feels more at ease knowing Jimin took it well. And close to him, Jungkook keeps smiling looking their way. Back at the beach, Hobi helps them get comfortable again and shares a few words with Yoongi about what happened. He doesn't spare any details but he assures him everything will be okay. He won't let anyone trigger Jimin in any way.

Despite the fact that both of them are welcome, Hobi can tell there's something weird going on. With Taehyung being more sensitive, Jimin being less distant and Jin avoiding Namjoon. Things are taking a strange direction but he can deal with it. Or so he thinks. Not wanting to be near that city for a while, the spend the day playing with in the sea. At night they know they have to pick a new place to go. They don't mind going to a different beach after this one gave them a harsh welcome with everything that happened. But Namjoon goes one step further.

- I say we should cross the border

- Are you crazy?

- I have my passport! I brought it just in case!

- Yeah me too!

- Wait, wait, wait! Who's gonna pay for-

- If Jimin and the rest want to go, I can buy us the tickets. We can even take a cruise.

-...Okay so... we'll do that?

- A trip to Japan payed by a suspiciously rich Yoongi? I'm in!

- Yes!

The answer surprises Hobi a bit. Why some of them don't suspect this is kind of a big step in their journey? And how come there's a few that look way too excited to leave the country? Not wanting to go against them, he agrees. They could leave right now but Jin insists in staying one more night. There's a place he has to go. He doesn't say where but no one finds it suspicious. Jungkook and Tae buy the last things they need for the graffiti. They want to make one before leaving even if it's a simple design.

Before the day is over, Hoseok buys a newspaper. He's been away from the news for a while now. But seeing how they voted to go by ship and not by plane, he'll need something to read not to get dizzy. Knowing it's his time to make dinner, he leaves it on his bed where anyone can grab it. And whoever does...will find Taehyung's name on it...

Jimin's back story is one of the saddest ones here. Hell, maybe it's the saddest one for me. But because I just wanna hug him so much (except for the fact that he would hate that). Still we have another sad story and you'll get a few details on the next Chapters.
