I may not like the style too much but I did try to keep the cartoon vibe with the old filming effect as you can see here.
And I tried to make his fire outlining look more like a 90s cartoon fire all white or grey and stuff.
Wish there were restored old cartoons with the style they came with so we can watch their smooth but goofy movements like Mickey or Oswald. While I appreciate the new Mickey Mouse shorts with the more cartoony style, they definitely need to bring Oswald the Rabbit back. Sure he's appeared in a game with Mickey but he hasn't appeared for a while after that.
Cuphead seems to bring back that vibe but only in the game and some short animations along with trailers.
