Nalulungkot na naman ako. Di naman ako naiinis kay Micha. Ang sakit talaga!
Ganito kasi ang nangyari……..
First year high school ako. Sa US ako nag-aral. I met this girl whose name is Elle Ferrer. Yes you read it clearly. Yes. She is the girl! I used to call her Elle. But I don’t know na MICHAELLE pala whole name nya.
I fell inlove with this girl. Mabait and always smiling. Ang ganda ng boses nya. It was like an angelic voice. We became friends. Iisa lang aming school na pinapasukan. Pero, mas advance sya ng 1 year sakin. Pero months lang ang age gap namin. Ang saya namin.
One day….
“Ian, we’re going back to Korea” sabi ni mama.
“Why mom??”
“You know already the reason” she said while tapping my head.
“The hell mom! We’re here for almost a year palang. I’m already adjusting, then what??? Another adjustment again?? Why is that business is so important?? How about me?? Mom, please consider me. I’m always considering that business because I know that it is for my own good. But how about me??!” I left our house. I went to the nearest park and there I saw Elle sitting alone.
“Elle” I started the conversation
“Yeah. What brought you here?”
“I have something to say”
“What??”
“I’m leaving U.S”
“So?”
“Huh? What kind of reply is that?”
“I don’t get you.”
“Elle, I’m courting you right?”
“What?? Courting?? When?”
“I said it to you via SMS. Didn’t you read it?”
“What? I don’t even have your number”
“Seriously Elle???! Then whose number is this??!” I showed her my phone.
“The hell Ian! It’s Stacey’s! My gosh! That’s why she’s always happy, because you’re courting her pala”
“But I asked Stacey your number then here is the number that she gave.” He showed me the number
“Y’know what? Stacey is obsess to you. Can’t you feel it?”
“That’s why I’m avoiding her. And also, that’s why I’m always wanting to be with you. It’s because”
“Because?”
My phone rang.
*MOM Calling……..*
“Elle, excuse me”
“Okay”
I answered my phone
“Yes Mom?”
“Where the hell are you??!”
“Mom! Don’t shout! It’s irritating. By the way, why do you care of where I am??”
“Ian! Listen to me. Come home now! This afternoon will be our flight back to Korea. “
“But Mom!”
“No buts Ian. Come home NOW!!”
*Call ended
What the hell is wrong with them? For Pete’s sake! Business here, there and everywhere! I went back to Elle’s place where she is sitting.
“Elle…”
“Yeah?”
“Goodbye”
“Goodbye??”
“I’m going back to Korea”
“So? I don’t care!”
“Elle, don’t you have a little feelings for me?”
“Haha. Ian, are you confessing to me??”
“Isn’t it obvious??” I said sarcastically
“Hahaha. I don’t have any feelings for you. I just feel like you my younger brother”
OUCH! It hurts when the girl you love says that she only treats you as a younger brother.
Well then, fine. I’ll just accept it.
“Okay. Just as what you said. I’m just your little brother.” I said in a sad voice.
“Goodbye. Have a safe trip. Enjoy!!!!!!!!. Hope I can see you again!” She said w/o looking in my direction.
I get closer to her. I called her name.
“Elle”
I was about to kiss her cheek but suddenly she looked at my direction. The next thing I knew
Our lips met.
My lips are touching her.
We’re both shocked.

We’re staying at that position for 15 seconds.
I was back in the real world when she stood up.

I felt that butterflies in my stomach.
Electricity is flowing in my body.
I didn’t notice that she left me there hanging.
After 5 minutes, I realized.
I LOVE HER.
But I need to go.
