Shadowling queen's Grasp

The Attack

"ARORUN!" Kilorn shouted into the woods, running after his matesprit, who had just been snagged by the Shadowling Queen Esther.  "KILORN, WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU'RE DOING?" Chirus yelled, running after Kilorn. "I'm GOING TO STOP THAT...THING FROM TAKING ARORUN!" Kilorn shouted back in frustration, running towards the black and white portal to the null realm. with Jack and Kufron following them. when they got to the Null realm, it was all monochromatic, except for the eerily blue looking sky, as it looked like blackened chunks of debris were floating up in the air, cracked stone stairs leading up to a tall pillar where Arorun and Kamikawa were imprisoned. "ARORUN!" Kilorn shouted, as he ran up the stone stairs to the tall pillar. "KILORN WAIT!!!!" Chirus shouted, levitating off the ground and flying over to kilorn to catch up with him. they soon made it to the pillar and ran towards the imprisoned alternians. 

"NOT SO FAST!" a voice caught them off guard as a lady with long silver hair, four green glowing eyes, 2 back tentacles, and dark obsidian skin that was cloaked in an inky purple dress approached them. "I see you've found my newest prized possessions, but they're mine, so keep your claws off of them." she hissed, pulling out a staff with an odd green crystal in the middle of the top part-- before hitting kilorn in the face with the staff. Kilorn got back on his feet and wiped away the blood from his nose, before running at the queen, and attempting to punch her. the hit ended up missing, which ended up with kilorn being grabbed by one of his wrists and slammed to the ground. He staggered to his feet, still a bit winded, his leather jacket torn in a few places. "KILORN!" Arorun shouted, surrounded by a dark aura that held her back from trying to help her matesprit. Kilorn tried to hit again, but was restrained by the same dark aura, as the queen now spoke. "And since you decided to hit royalty, the only thing that i can think of to hurt you the most is to have your girl of your dreams hurt you. she snapped her fingers and Arorun started to transform into a shadowling-troll hybrid. the indigoblood tried to fight it, but she couldn't. she was now under the queen's control. "Now, arorun... KILL THE JADEBLOOD!" the queen hissed. Please.. Arorun, Don't do this... I-I love you, remember?" Kilorn tried to Plead as the pissed off and broken shadow-troll slowly walked over to kilorn, before kneeing him in the gut, and slamming him against the ground, before picking him up by the collar of the shirt and throwing him to the ground. Kilorn got up, backed up around the ledge of the pillar, all bruised and injured. "But Guess what? I NEVER loved you!" Arorun hissed, before charging up a beam of shadow energy and blasting it into Kilorn's abdomen. Kilorn Fell off the pillar, plummeting into the void. "KILORN!!!" Kufron shouted before diving off the edge to try and catch the jadeblood, wings sprouting from the amethystblood's back before being able to scoop up the unconscious alternian in his arms and flew back up. "Come on, we need to go for now......" Jack said, before they exited through the portal and closed it.

they got back to Alternia, carrying the jadeblood back to a place in one of the hives, setting kilorn down onto a table and gathering the supplies to patch up the wound. Kilorn woke up a bit, coughing up a bit more of his blood as he muttered "Why...did she turn against me?" before passing out yet again. "I have no idea how it happened..."  a voice sounded out from a corner of the area. it was Abernos.  " Okay, can anyone tell me what the Hell happened to him?" Abernos asked, shocked at the sight in front of him. "Okay, we tried to save his matesprit, but it went terribly wrong when the shadowling queen straight up beat him to a pulp before turning arorun into a shadowling and mind controlling  her into hating kilorn, and then arorun blasted him in the gut, and we made it back to the normal realm before heading here to hopefully patch up his wounds." Kufron explained to Abernos, while patching up the wounds. Chirus Picked up kilorn and carried him over to a bed for him to rest on, it was no recuperacoon but it would have to do for now.
