you wake up. you go to check the time to see that its 9:09.
you're late for work.
as you get up brush your teeth, shower and get dressed, you hear a small sound coming from your bedroom.
you walk towards your room to see that its your phone. its your partner. they're calling you and you should probably pick up.
y/n: "hey love uh, good morning."
them: "hey y/n how are you?"
y/n: "im not doing too good, my alarm seems to have broken or something and now im late for work."
them: "ooh that's not too good. well,
you seem to be in a rush. ill call you later, bye love."
y/n "oh, okay. buh-bye."
*you let out an uncomfy sigh*
you grab your phone and head out to work.
y/n: "hey boss, sorry i was late. my alarm glitched or something."
boss: "oh dont worry y/n!"
*boss comes closer to you*
boss: "you know you're my favorite and best worker." -says boss in a whispery tone-
