Kurapika sighed as he walked out from the bathroom, in which Illumi was still occupied . Killua frowned, “he's STILL not handling it well?” he asked the blonde. Kurapika sighed once more. “ He's not going to like what I have to say about the situation… His condition is worsening, it would be best if he didn’t visit Hisoka today. In his state if he were to be caught it probably wouldn’t end very well considering the spiders wouldn’t hesitate to kill him on sight.” Kurapika said, pouring himself a cup of tea. Killua huffed and sat on the couch. Considering the situation, yes illumi wasn't the best person, and he hurt alluka and him. But he was still his big brother nonetheless. Killua stood and walked to the bathroom and waited for Illumi to finish before he spoke. Illumi spat the last of the blood from his mouth before he glanced at Killua. “W-what? Kil?” he asked. Killua saw his brother’s condition and almost groaned as the memories of the LAST time he and Gon helped Hisoka who had the same disease. ‘What the hell are these chances?! First Hisoka now Illumi…’ he walked over and helped move his brother's hair from his face. “Look Illumi, Kurapika doesn't think you should see Hisoka today… You clearly don’t feel or look good. He worries they'll kill you should anything happen…” Killua said as he saw Illumis shoulders tense. Wiping the last of the blood and stray petals from his lip he spoke, “But if I don’t visit Hisoka frequently, he’ll never fall for me...and from there, we know I won’t make it.” Illumi said, forcing his shaky limbs up to strength. He hobbled to the door and made his way out. Killua was going to stop him but didn't, he knew why Illumi was doing this, but he wanted to help. Kurapika put his hand on Killuas shoulder and tried to comfort his friend. Killua lowered his head in disappointment. “There has to be something we can do to help him…”

~Back at the troupe hideout~

Hisoka had kept quiet about his last interaction with the stranger from last night. Surprisingly Chrollo hadn’t noticed. He was positive it was midnight, he sat straight up, waiting for an expected visit from his strange visitor. ‘Perhaps I can gain more information on this mystery man~♡’ Hisoka thought as he waited for the stranger's arrival. After some time of waiting, he heard the window open. A gust of wind brushed through the stuffy room, the faint smell of blood mixed with sweet smelling cherry blossoms hit Hisoka’s nose. Hisoka smiled charmingly. “Welcome back~♡” he said, waiting for the stranger to come closer. Illumi smiled a bit, still weak due to his disease. Illumi took his seat next to the magician. Hisoka, who may be currently blind but not deaf or scentless. Took notice, he tilted his head and raised an eyebrow. “You feeling well mystery man? Or person… You never specified your pronouns you see.~♧” Hisoka stated waiting for an answer from the other. Illumi briefly tensed, having been off his game. “I am feeling rather ill today, but a promise is a promise. As for my pronouns, I am a he/him, if you wish to classify me as otherwise you're welcome to.” Illumi said as he saw Hisoka grow closer. Hisoka reached for a strand of Illumis hair, having missed the feeling. It was so different compared to Chrollos, Chrollos felt more coarse and slightly greasy due to the bandage he noticed Chrollo wore when he’d return from somewhere. Hisoka sighed as he recalled the events from today, it was merely a boring repeat of yesterday getting cut up by the sane strange people then getting put in here and tested on as if he was just some mental hospital patient. He was going crazy from the lack of human communication. He had begun to, however, recall some memories. He remained stroking the stranger's hair and soon grew closer, seeking the comfort and physical attention of the man. Illumi felt his cheeks warm as he allowed the magician to come closer. Hisoka had laid his head on Illumis chest and was cuddled to him as he allowed himself to reminisce. He could recall cheering of a crowd, a bloody corpse and a feeling of euphoria after walking away, the cheering quieting down and a pleased smile on his face as he disappeared from the crowd's peering eyes. “I feel like this is familiar~♢” he stated to no one in particular. Illumis hope sprang from him. ‘Had, had he finally remembered something about me?’ Illumi thought but then grew froze as he noticed Hisokas hand had found its way to a vine that had pried  its way from Illumis shoulder, the tight grip of pain rushed through him but he had no reaction. Hisoka spoke, “What's this?~♧” he asked genty feeling the flowers petals. Illumi jumped up, instantly regretting it as Hisoka had fallen from Illumis grip and unintentionally ripped the flower and vine from Illumi, he coughed some more but swallowed the developing flowers quickly, making it sound as if he was clearing his throat. “N-nothing. I believe it is time I took my leave.” Illumi said, walking towards the window. Hisoka frowned, “So soon?~♤” he asked. Illumi sighed internally, he would love to spend more time with Hisoka, but knew it posed too much risk. “Yes, however, I promise I will return tomorrow at the same time. Since you seem to enjoy my company.” Illumi replied leaving before Hisoka could take more time. Hisoka’s attention turned to the flowers he had accidentally torn from the mystery man's shoulder. The scent of blood accompanied by the soft texture of the flower sharply brought a wave of negative feeling nostalgia. He laid back down holding the flowers close. Chrollo no doubt would be suspicious if he caught wind of this visitor. He would have to be careful.

Killua knew Illumi wouldn’t be able to make the trip back home. It had begun to rain as well. Killua saw in the distance the familiar silhouette of Illumi, and he raced towards him when he saw the figure in the distance collapse. Illumi was soaked, rain, and slight blood joined the rushing water underneath, he had unintentionally left a trail of cherry blossoms. Killua sighed and dropping the umbrella helped half-carry half- drag his older sibling to the apartment. Kurapika was waiting for them, already having the heater on, fresh coffee made, as well as soup for Illumis return. He knew from Killua that the Zoldyck family can’t get ill but this was a different case, the soup will help his throat. He helped lay Illumi down and immediately got them clean clothes. “By the way, I got more information on the spiders. They might be moving locations due to an interesting illegal trade on the black market in the more northern regions. Killua gave a stern look, “Do you think they would sell Hisoka on the market?” he asked, the blonde replied in a serious tone. “They just might, Hisoka is popular and no less a criminal. Many underground slave traders would pay for someone of Hisoka's strength. And given his memory impairment at the moment, who would miss that chance?” Kurapika said, taking a sip of his tea and placing it back down on the table. Killua hummed in thought, “I guess… That means we’ll have to find a way to rescue Hisoka before then. The issue is, Illumis condition is worsening. I’ve left Alluka with Gon. I still don’t want to have to use Nanika for anything unless absolutely necessary. So, what can we do?” Killua asked, eyes turning back to the blonde. Kurapika smiled and raised his chain laden hand up, “If me or Illumi wasn't so easily recognized. I say we could pose as a troupe member and get information that way. The same as Hisoka did, however I suspect they’ll be keeping their gaurd up and be a little more strict on recruiting, well, unless they’re just dumb.” he said returning back to his tea. Killua jolted up and beamed, an idea obviously struck his mind. “LEORIO! He could help! Only issue would be getting him in the troupe! His reputation with the election and the Zodiacs should help solve that problem though.” Killua smiled. Kurapika returned the smile. “I suppose, however…It has been awhile, Midterms might be going on for him... And I'd imagine he wouldn’t be on terms with me.” Kurapikas smile faded. Killua smirked like a cat, “Yea, sure…” he said, ‘You just like leorio, don’t you?’ He noticed the confused expression on Kurapikas face mixed with the light tint of pink on the Kurtas cheeks. “Either way, we should contact Leorio and Fill him in. If he doesn't want to help, we have other resources at our disposal.” Killua said as he stood to collect a soda from the Cabinet.
