Broken Promises

Chapter eleven: End of one chapter and the beginning of another.

After a few weeks, Michaela and Taylor decided to go to a party cause Michaela never went to one, "You wanna go to a party, Michaela?" asked Taylor, "I-uh sure I've never been to one before though" said Michaela doubtfully, "It's fine you can just come to this one" said Taylor.

They both decided to go to the party, Taylor drove Michaela there.

Taylor knew many people at the party, so he kept on talking with them but Michaela didn't know anyone so she just sat there because she was scared to talk to people she was an introvert. She sat there and kept on looking for Taylor, then suddenly someone was tapping her shoulder when she turned it was Taylor, "Oh my god you scared the hell outta me" said Michaela in shock, "Sorry for that, anyway what are you looking at? you looking for me?" said Taylor, "I'm looking at nothing and not looking for you" said Michaela.

"Sure I'm going to believe you weren't looking for me," said Taylor sarcastically, "Fine, I was looking for you cause I don't know anyone here," said Michaela. "Makes sense, and on the side note, do you like me?" said Taylor, "Umm no? who told you that?" said Michaela, "I was hoping you liked me," said Taylor, "And why is that?" asked Michaela, "It's just cause I like you very much," said Taylor, "Wait you do?" asked Michaela in shock, "Mhm yes I do and I was hoping you liked me too," said Taylor.

"Well in that case...............I-I like you too," said Michaela, "I knew it, dummy" said Taylor, "Wait did Daisy tell you this?" asked Michaela, "I'm busted," said Taylor, "Okay but this is just a joke right? you don't like me do you," said Michaela, "No silly, I do like you, "I've liked you since a long time, I just wasn't sure if you felt the same way I thought if I told you our friendship would be ruined" said Taylor.

Without any hesitation Michaela kissed Taylor on the lips, he did not expect it so at first he was shocked he just stood there, "Um I-I'm sorry for that" said Michaela, Taylor didn't say anything but when he realized it was real he pulled Michaela near him and kissed her, he said "There's no need for a sorry, I love you Michaela", "I love you too" said Michaela.

After that, they both went home and the ride back home was kinda quiet, It was pretty awkward, Taylor broke the silence by starting a conversation, Michaela and Taylor talked for a long time it wasn't awkward anymore, they started dating that night.

Michaela was finally happy she found a person who would do anything for her, just like how she would do anything for that person, it was Taylor who made her feel alive again, they both filled each other's lives and were truly happy together.

There were times in their relationship when it wasn't that good but they got through it, they did have fights but they always made up again, they just can't be away from each other, it was the love, they were happy when they were together they found happiness in each other both of them were madly in love and would do anything for each other, they were like Bonnie and Clyde, they were made for each other.

-After a few years-

Just when Michaela was really happy her worst nightmare came true "Lila". Lila reached out to Michaela she said "Hey Michaela, What I did to you was very wrong, I still regret what I did, I never should've said those things to you and cut you off, I realize I was wrong I'm not asking you to forgive me right now cause If I were you I wouldn't forgive myself I would hate me so I don't expect anything nice from you cause I abandoned you, I was wrong I only ask you one thing can you just be in my life cause it's kinda empty without you".

"Okay, first of all, I like that you realize what you did was wrong and yes, of course, I'm not forgiving you this easy and I'm sorry but I still don't think you realize how much you hurt me because you're asking me to let you into my life again, I'm finally happy without you, I have a person who loves me as I love him when you abandoned me he took me in and made me feel good about myself it's cause of him I'm still alive and you never even asked if I was okay and now when my life is finally good, you reach out but I don't want you to ruin it so please just don't reach out to me again and let me live happily, I can't and won't go back to the past again I'm sorry but I hope you understand me and start fresh again cause I did and I'm happier than ever, One last thing before I hang up, you're a nice person so don't let some bastard like Andrew ruin it ever again, this is my final advice goodbye, Lila, I hope I never see you again". said Michaela and hung up.

After that call, Michaela burst out in tears she was crying cause she got to tell Lila how she felt and got it all out of her, she could finally live in peace she could live happily with Taylor without having to worry about anything.

After the call, Lila was devastated she knew this would happen but she still had hope that Michaela would take her back, But still, Lila was relieved cause she finally got to know that Michaela was doing good and found someone she loved, Lila thought she had no purpose to be worried anymore and she at last, texted Michaela saying "Thank you for being there for me even when I wasn't Thank you for not forgiving me and Thank you for being happy This is my last goodbye to you and this world Love you Michaela I'm finally going to go to sleep forever now".

After seeing the message, even though Michaela thought to leave Lila alone but she couldn't hold it in this time she still had a soft spot for Lila, "TAYLOR PLEASE TAKE ME TO LILA'S PLACE RIGHT NOW" cried Michaela, "why what's wrong babe?" asked Taylor, "WE DON'T HAVE TIME FOR THIS JUST TAKE ME THERE" said Michaela.

Taylor drove to Lila's house, and when they arrived Michaela ran inside just to find Lila dead, she called 911 and she kept on crying "I know I said I never want to see you again but I didn't mean this, you still are someone I like even if you ruined my life but you dying cause of me makes me feel fucking bad, I'm sorry this had to be the end I love you Lila, but not as much as I used to do rest in peace my friend" cried Michaela, "It's okay babe, It's going to be alright" said Taylor while hugging Michaela as the ambulance took Lila out of the house.

Michaela said while crying "This is how it ends huh", "Babe think of this as the end of one chapter and the beginning of another, I love you" said Taylor, "I love you too" said Michaela wiping off her tears.

This chapter was kind of emotional to write as it is the end but I made it, It'll be hard for me to move on from this cause I got attached to the characters but Thank you for reading till the end I really appreciate it!!
