Everything he was muttering was just painful to hear, my eyes turned glassy seeing him suffering this badly.

"It was so hard to live without you"

His words shattered me into pieces, he still have feelings towards her. I didn't know how to react because I started to fall hard for him and then there's Ara, who probably left him for someone.

I sighed and pushed the door a little bit to get a view of him. The whole living room was empty, lights were off and nothing could be seen. I decided to approach him no matter what. It was my time to get him out of this trouble.

I wanted to hold his back in all bad days because it's the time everyone leaves. I could only see him and his unhappy, dull face.

Gladly, the bedroom's door was open but lights were off. I could properly hear his sob.  He was breathing heavily and didn't notice my presence there.

"I don't wanna have those memories of you and me again"

He was sitting on the floor with his back resting on bed. His arms were wrapped around his knees and he was looking at his phone. I could see some pictures but it wasn't clearly visible.

"J-jungkook" he quickly faced me, "y-y/n, what are you d-doing here?"

He tried his best to wipe off those tears but they were still clearly visible to me.

"I came to return you, your watch"

His gazed moved to my fist where I was holding his watch.

"Oh thanks"

I approached him, handing his watch.

"It's midnight, you can go now"

Instead of leaving, I sat beside him which made him look at him surprisingly.

"I'm not going anywhere. I'm not with you to leave you alone"

"Y-y/n"

"I know you were crying"

Both of us were looking at each other without saying a single word. I breathed heavily and held his hands.

"I know you are mature enough to make your own decisions, to understand what's wrong or right for you."

He burst out into tears again which made me weak.

"S-she left me when I needed her the most and now-"

" It's okay- what do you want?"

"I just wanna be happy"

"Then choose that which makes you happy"

He couldn't hold his tears back and sobbed recollecting every memory to him with Ara.

My gaze fell on his phone and those pictures, what was that?
