Dont say goodbye

Hold on , wait, before you walk away. Was i not worthy enough to take a risk and stay? Was it the fact you've got walls built up & are blinded by the past. How could one become heartless towards one who wanted you regardless? What we had is hard to find, now all i wonder was this a waste of time masked by a lesson, we learn we move on they say.. but its hard to let go when you see past the emotions. Chosen to be selfish when its you i feel sorry for, you keep your walls up and easily erase your memories. In the end you where running away from the one thing you wanted, but was to naive to notice.. New wounds & scars engraved within our hearts, please don't say goodbye, its not that you need me, its that you want me by your side , only to avoid what you're wanting & avoid being hurt. I cant and i wont let go, i say ill wait but why cause more pain on myself. You now left me with the memory of wanting me than call it quits & hope i would give up. That special something shared between us, was the reason i knew you where the one, not just for me but for you to.. similarities in devotions and emotions like oceans. As if we are lost in space and feeling out of place, peace be found within yourself first before it being with anybody else. No expression or signs of weakness, you'll watch me walk away & be left with the guilt.. knowing you turned back on your broken hearts missing puzzle piece. Our thoughts drain the air as both left in despair, if only id know sooner we were going under, i would've saved the tears. Than there was the word i dreaded hearing played repeat in my mind. Goodbye, was the last i heard from you.. you said that you wanted me. Now my minds left playing tricks hoping you'll make amends, but all you left me with was a missing piece and a ghost image memory of you.
