The school bell rang and the sounds of students shuffling down the hall on a tired Monday morning filled his ears. An energy drink he barely remembers buying on the way to school that morning is cold in his hand, and he sees other students with caffinated drinks, some with already shakey hands.

That weekend, he and his friends had had a sleepover, staying up way too late at the skate park and heading home, climbing through Sapnap's window to sleep in his bed. Dream had been more than excited to watch Sapnap practice skating at 2 in the morning on a Sunday, and George had been the one trying to convince them to head home. Once it hit 3 they knew they needed to leave.

The effects of staying up late with his favorite people were now weighing on his shoulders, the raven-haired male walking to class with sleepy limbs and eye bags. George had laughed at him when they met up at their usual spot, the table by the staircase that led to Dreams first period class, and the blond had teased him over the previous night when Sapnap had fallen face-first into the grass while practicing a trick.

He remembers how on the walk home, he wanted to hold their hands so badly, slot his fingers between theirs and smile at them like they were his world.

He brushed off the thought and sat down in his first-period class, getting out his notebook.

Dream and George were always going to be his friends and he never planned on losing them, so those thoughts were nothing but stupid.

The three had been best friends since middle school, Dream a bit longer. George had moved from London to Florida in 6th grade, the two extroverted boys pulling the brunet into their newly formed trio. George had been shy and quiet at first, but Dream and Sapnap easily helped him out of his shell.

Sapnap had met Dream when he moved to Florida from Texas, being the new kid and not knowing what to do with himself. The blond had immediately started talking to him in 5th grade, and they just stuck together from then on.

He had only recently come to terms with being bisexual, and he hadn't even come out to his best friends, who were, to his knowledge, straight. And if anything, they had a better chance with each other than Sapnap had a chance with both of them -or even one-, so there was really no point in moping around and feeling bad about it.

First period felt extra long since he was busy stuck in his head, but at least he could look forward to second period since the blond was in his class.

The bell rang again, but this time he was throwing the empty can into a recycling bin as he headed to class, seeing Dream waiting for him by the lockers outside of their science classrooms door.

"Hey! feeling any more awake?" the taller asked, nudging Sapnap with his shoulder as they headed to their table, sitting next to each other.

"A little bit, I could probably still pass out though" the shorter gave a soft smile, receiving a grin and a huff from the taller.

"Don't tell George that or else he'll be like," Dream cleared his throat and, in a very bad British accent, said "I told you so! We should have not even gone to the skate park, Sapittus napittus."

Both boys laughed, Sapnap covering his mouth and watching as Dream's eyes crinkled up as he smiled, his jade eyes bright with mirth.

"Ooo are we making fun of George?" Quackity spoke up from the table in front of them, turning around in his seat.

Sapnap had met Quackity last year, in his sophomore year of high school, having the same math class as him. The boy always wore a dark blue beanie and he was so naturally funny. Quackity usually hung around another kid in their grade, Karl. Karl was always really nice and fun to be around, both boys becoming pretty close to their group. It had become an inside joke that Sapnap, Dream and, George were called the "Dream team", due to the blond technically bringing them all together, so they all joked that it was the "Dream team plus Quackity and Karl" when they'd all hang out.
