Chapter 5 Finally

Preston POV

I had to get ready to go to Sara's house. She said she wanted to talk to me. I don't know about what, though. Maybe our relationship? Well, no time to think about that.

I look over at my clock. Crap. It's 10:28. I have to be at her house by at 10:40. I jump out of bed, take a quick shower, get dressed, brush my teeth, fix my hair, and I was on my way. 

I wonder why she wanted to talk. It had to be bad. I mean... If it was good, then she would text me it. Usually, when it was bad, she would call me over at her house. I almost lost all focus on the road. I felt the car turn slightly toward a house. I stopped thinking at that point and kept my eyes on the road, and not in my thoughts.

~Time skip to Sara's house~

I knock on the door. For some reason, I felt scared. Not of her, just what it was that she was going to say.

"Hey Preston!" Sara pulled me into a fake-ish hug. Something feels off.

"Hey, So what did you want to tell me?" I asked. She got awkwardly quiet. She motioned me inside. I followed. She patted the couch next to her. I sat.

"So, listen. I don't think our relationship is working out." Sara said.

"What? I thought it was going great! I didn't know you felt like this." I said. It seemed like no matter what, I always get bad news. To top of Rob not talking to me, My girlfriend is breaking up with me. 

"Preston, hello? You there? Earth to Preston!" Sara was waving her hand in front of my eyes.

"Oh, um, I got to go." I lied. I get up to walk out of the house.

"Wait." Sara said. She grabbed my wrist.  I look at her. "I hope we can still be friends." Sara said.

"We still can be friends, don't worry." I knew she could see the hurt in my eyes. I wanted to leave. She loosened her grip on my wrist and let me go. (cue Let her go, The song)

~Time skip to prestons house~

Now I got pissed. Matt still hasn't called me. "What The Fudge!" I yelled.

I go to call Matt. He doesn't answer. "Just great!" I say. 

I decided to record a solo Parkour video. I had to scrap it all. It all sounded like my voice was depressed , which I was. I just lied down in my bed all day. Nothing is going my way. It never does. Why on top of everything, Sara had to break up with me. Just WHY. 

I heard my Skype go off. It was Matt. 

 "FINALLY!" I yelled.

"Listen Preston. It's a long story, okay?" Matt said.

"ok." I said, confused.

"Ok, you're probably not going to believe me, but here I go. Jerome accused Rob of stealing Mitch from him, but he never did. Jerome put some sort of spell on Rob that made him not to talk to the person he cared for the most, and that's you. If he communicates with you at all, with texting, Skype, anything at all, he would turn into a wolf and do whatever he could to kill you."

What? Hold up. He cares the most for me? Why? 

I got cut off from my thoughts when Matt yelled in my ears "MITCH!" I guess he added Mitch.

"Yo, what up dogs?" Mitch asked.

"Nothing" Matt and I both said.

"Okay, I know what is going on. Your talking about Rob. Am I right?" Mitch asked.

I wanted to be silent for the rest of the call. They could talk all the wanted. I'm staying silent. I turned off my face cam. 

"Hey Preston, turn back on your face cam, man. You okay?" Matt asked. I didn't answer. 

"Well Preston, I talked to Rob today, and I found out how you can talk to each other!" Mitch said. I was interested now

"What are you talking about?" I asked.

"Well, you could text Matt or me and say text this to Rob, and we would. He would text something to us and we would text it to you!" he said. That sounded perfect, but I would never be able to see Rob again.

"Okay." I said, "Then that's the plan"

"We will start it tomorrow"

"Got it"
