Slowly Getting better

Izuku POV

Toshi told class 1-A about where we came from and after that, he asked us to introduce ourselves to each other, after saying that he left Dorm because he had something to do, Miyuki and I introduced ourselves last after Lucas introduced himself I smiled and introduced myself.

"My name is Izuku Katz, nice to meet you," I said in fluent Japanese and it surprised everyone except my brother, katsuki, Miyuki, and Lucas.

"My name is Miyuki Katz, I hope we can get along," Miyuki said after that class 1-A introduced themselves one by one, when it was Katsuki's turn I was really curious about how he was now.

"Katsuki Bakugou," Katsuki said while turning his head away.

"My name is Ikuya Yagi, you can call me Ikuya," Ikuya said with a friendly smile.

"Okay, I'll tell you the names of your roommates," Mr. Aizawa said and he started calling names.  after I while my name was called and I was surprised when I heard who my roommate was.

"Katsuki Bakugou will share a room with Izuku Katz," Mr. Aizawa said and I can see Katsuki's face that looks surprised.

Miyuki looked worried about me and she asked Mr. Aizawa whether roommates could be changed or not and her question was answered with a quick No, Miyuki looked annoyed about that but I told her I was okay and asked her to go with her roommate to put his bag, Lukas went to follow my brother because his roommate is my brother and after it was quiet enough I went over to Katsuki.

"so...I will be your roommate, I hope for your cooperation or so," I said and Katsuki didn't say anything, the atmosphere became awkward very quickly because neither of us said anything until Katsuki said something.

"Follow me," Katsuki said slowly and we walked towards the stairs because there was a line in front of the elevator.

While walking there was no conversation between us but somehow the atmosphere was not as awkward as before, I know Katsuki is not the type to talk a lot and he had pretty bad social skills since childhood so I think a peaceful quiet atmosphere like this is better than it was awkward. After a few minutes without the slightest conversation, we arrived in front of Katsuki's room which is on the 3rd floor. when I saw Katsuki's room I immediately felt a feeling of familiarity because Katsuki's room is not much different from his bedroom in his house, Katsuki's room is very clean and everything looked neat yet I could smell a very pungent spicy odor in the air. It didn't bother me too much, it even made me want to eat something spicy, more specifically, spicy katsudon from my favorite restaurant that is not far from my house.

"I don't have an extra mattress so I hope you don't have a problem with the sleeping bag or you can take the bed, I'll sleep on the floor with the sleeping bag," katsuki said.

"I take the sleeping bag, thanks," I said and katsuki nodded.

I noticed that katsuki doesn't even look at me when he's talking and he seems nervous about something, I might not like katsuki's usual personality that much but I'm much more uncomfortable with him like this because it's too different from his normal self, I put my bag on the edge of the room and pulled a chair to sit facing Katsuki.

"Katsuki, I'll be honest with you. I may not like your usual personality but I feel uncomfortable with how you are right now. So tell me, what problem do you have to make you like that" I said and katsuki was silent for a few moments before he took a deep breath.

"I...fight with Ikuya," Katsuki said as he sat on his bed.

"I can see that. From the looks of it your fight must be quite big," I said and Katsuki nodded.
