Gus P.O.V.

After Boscha had left with Willow I went back to Mattholomule and Karter. By then they had got Carol tied up and were keeping an eye on her while waiting for the proper authorities. Carol had been knocked out but she was still wearing a devilish smile, that honestly freaked me out a little. At that moment I had realized I was still wearing Mattholomule's hoodie, but I don't want to give it back it's really soft. I blushed at the thought and quickly attempted to take the hoodie off, which gained Mattholomule's attention.

"Oh hey what are you doing?" He came towards me pushing the cloth down so I couldn't take it off.

"W-well it's your hoodie. It'd be rude if I didn't return it." He shook his head smiling.

"Nah keep it, I've got plenty." I grinned excitedly making him chuckle. "Besides my hoodie's the closest you got to a shirt, and I'd rather you not get more burns on that breathtaking body of yours Porter."

"B-breathtaking?" He grinned stepping closer as he leaned over me slightly.

"You heard me." I looked at him pretty surprised. Why was Mattholomule flirting with me?! Oh titian I can't handle having more than one crush on someone!

Wait...does Skara even like guys? I should ask her...More importantly is Mattholomule being serious?

I shook my head trying to clear my mind and focus on the task at hand. "I-I uh well...t-thank you. Oh and by the way..."

"Yes?" Mattholomule tilted his head smirking knowingly.

"W-why'd you grow your hair out?" Mattholomule laughed and leaned back to a normal stance.

"Heh, it wasn't intentional I just never got around to cutting it. By the time I got the chance too I ended up liking the look." He shrugged and looked me over. "You however don't seem to have changed much." I chuckled and rubbed the back of my neck nervously.

"Yeah I kinda got stuck with a quote 'baby face' according to Willow."

"She's definitely changed the most out of everyone. If I wasn't into guys she'd probably be my first choice, well if she was single that is." Mattholomule sighed and looked towards Karter, who had been standing in front of Carol quietly for a while. "Question, what's your opinion on marriage?"

"H-Huh? Why are you asking?" Mattholomule shrugged and returned his gaze to me.

"I mean look at the Dialods...they've fooled people for years that they were the ideal family. Hell growing up I thought I should've tried to be like them; however, if you ask any of the servants about Boscha they won't hesitate to tell you that they were bribed to stay quiet about how they treated Boscha. It's so fucked up..." Mattholomule shook his head before he spoke again. "Gah never mind I'm just thinking aloud and probably boring you huh?"

"No you sounded like you needed to vent for a second, I'm here for you whatever you need."

"Thank you Gus, I appreciate that." Mattholomule sighed and looked around once more. "Hey it's obvious Karter's got Carol under control, so what do you say we get out of here and I get you something? My treat."

"Oh no you really don't have to do that. Besides I should get home and make sure Boscha's doing okay." As if on cue I got a text from Willow, reading it over it immediately dawned that it'd be better if I went with Mattholomule. Specifically so I don't have to listen to them. "A-actually...never mind, going out sounds great."

"Sweet! I have plenty of cash to spend on you so don't worry about a single thing, Porter." Mattholomule grabbed my hand and pulled me down the hall towards the exit. "Call us if you need us Karter!"
