Prologue

WHAT WOULD YOU DO FOR LOVE? WOULD YOU RISK IT ALL?

Prologue:

I slowly spread my wings and, yes I said wings, carefully strode to the edge of the sea cliffs. " I'm an angel," I muttered my confession to Seth and jumped. I whizzed through the air doing flips and cart wheels and handstands(which is quite hard in midair as you can imagine.) "That's wicked cool!" Seth shouted from the ledge. I fluttered down and blushed. "Really? You think so?" I bit my bottom lip. "I know so!" he replied cheerily. His emerald colored eyes glimmered in the sunlight. I did the most unexpected thing I could ever do, I pulled out a 9 mm pistol. "Seth I shouldn't have told you..." I said, my eyes downcast from the guilt of his beautiful eyes which are now probably pleading with my better judgement. He started to raise up his hands carefully. There was pain in his voice when he asked, "Why Arabella?" I cautiously looked into the stunning orbs of green, that were his eyes. They were tearing up, the tears threatening to overflow onto his flawless lightly freckled face. I slightly lowered the gun and firmly announced, "You will never see me again, nor did you ever see me. Understand?" He bowed his head as he whispered, "Yes...."

"Goodbye Seth... I will always be your guardian angel." I waved farewell and solemnly fluttered away in the breeze of the bay. Why did I ever do that? I thought to myself as I watched his outline on the edge of the sea cliff fade. "Don't go," Seth barely whispered and then added, "I will find you again Ari!"

Will Seth have the courage to find Arabella and complete the tasks to win her back? Or will he be forced to realize an angel CANNOT love a mortal.... Book One of the Guardian Angel Trilogy: Beautiful.
