She's in the hospital
When I wake up I see my mom. It was the last thing I expected to see considering she hated me. "Ellie?" She says looking up at me. She had the largest dark circles I've ever seen on anyone. They're usually pretty bad considering she drinks a lot. I'm not sure why she wouldn't sleep though. "Sweetie how are you, does it hurt? Let me call the doctor-" before she could say anything else she sees me staring into the empty chair next to her smiling. It was the figure sitting there crying, worried. "You have a concussion you should lie back down. You're staring at an empty chair." She said while looking down on me.
"Mom I'm fine, can't you see the chair's not empty? My new friend is sitting there." I say as if that's normal. I notice she immediately pages the other doctors to come. I slowly feel myself fading and almost falling into a sleep like state.
"What's going on?" I ask, extremely confused.
"Ellie, you've been in a coma for 2 months..." The doctor states. "WHAT????!!!!" I yell very loudly. "You will need at least 3 weeks physical therapy. Also we need to do an evaluation on your mental health." The doctor says glancing at my arms that had scars. (From when I dug my nails into them, and older scars from cutting)
"Can we skip that part?" I say with hope. "No sadly. Oh by the way my name is Dr. Samantha Andrews. Please just call me Dr. Sam." She says."Ok nice to meet you Dr. Sam." I say hoping she doesn't say anything to my mom. She's been staring for a while now.
