---**Kim Taehyung POV:**
The next morning, I sat in silence, Luna sleeping peacefully on my lap. I couldn't help but run my fingers through her hair, which cascaded down her shoulder. It was a tranquil moment, but it was soon interrupted by my guard.
"Your Highness, the Queen wishes to see you," he announced.
"I'll be there shortly," I replied, feeling a sense of duty tug at me.
"Of course, Your Highness." He bowed his head respectfully before stepping back.
Reluctantly, I lifted Luna gently from my lap and left the room, heading toward where my mother sat on her throne, her gaze fixed on me.
"Kim Taehyung, my son," she said, her tone both commanding and concerned. "I've heard you have a human girl in your care who is seriously injured. I need to know, do you love her?"
"Mother, this is not just business," I countered, my heart racing. "But yes, I love her. I don't know what I'd do without her."
She regarded me with a soft smile. "Then I hope she recovers soon. I would love to meet her, if you don't mind."
"Of course," I replied, a little apprehensive but hopeful.
**A Few Days Later...**
**Eva Wise POV:**
Worry gnawed at me for days ever since Luna disappeared from school. Her absence was palpable, and I couldn't shake the feeling that something was very wrong. In class, Ms. Ayako addressed us, discussing our missing classmate. I could hardly contain my tears as I gazed out the window, longing for Luna's return.
I recalled the strange words Luna had shared: she had seen an inhuman man dressed in a black suit. The realization hit me hard, and I fell apart, sobbing uncontrollably.
"Why?! Why?!" I shouted, my voice echoing in the classroom.
Ms. Ayako and my classmates turned to me in surprise. She approached cautiously. "Eva, are you okay? You don't seem alright."
"I'm fine," I managed to choke out. "But I can't believe it! Luna wasn't crazy after all; she was right!"
"Tell me what happened," Ms. Ayako urged, concern etched on her face.
Just then, two FBI agents in black suits entered the classroom. A wave of fear washed over me as they approached Ms. Ayako.
"Miss, we need to take her with us. It's urgent," they said.
"Okay, I'll come," I stated, trying to muster some courage.
**Author POV:**
As the FBI led Eva to their camp, she noticed an array of law enforcement personnel and military officers. A woman in a suit made eye contact with her and approached.
"Hello, I'm Detective Lee Soo, and I study immortal beings," she said with a warm smile.
Eva nodded, following Lee Soo as she entered the tent, where more agents were gathered at a table.
"Hi, Eva. I'm Jimson, and I specialize in hybrid beings," one of the men said, introducing himself.
They began to explain the reality behind the inhuman creatures — beings that were gods and vampires. Detective Lee Soo launched into a historical account of an ancient empire ruled by Queen Wu Chan, the dark angel vampire. She spoke of her three children: Azuma, the vampire Phoenix, who happened to be Kim Taehyung's little sister; Prince Taemin, a devil who controlled human minds; and Kim Tae-Hyun, the dark angel prince.
"Even though they aren't human, they are powerful beings who have lived for millennia," Lee Soo explained.
"Wow, I can't believe these people are gods," Eva gasped.
"Yes, they are ancient beings," Lee Soo confirmed. "Some have the ability to manipulate humans."
"What kinds of creatures are we talking about?" Eva asked, her curiosity piquing.
"We can't disclose that information," Lee Soo replied hesitantly.
"Then why did they take Luna? She's my friend, and I need her back!" Eva pleaded desperately.
"I'm sorry to hear about Luna," Lee Soo said sympathetically. "But the Queen's son has her."
"Who is it?" Eva pressed, anxiety rising in her chest.
"Kim Taehyung," Detective Lee Soo replied, watching as Eva's face contorted with despair.
In that moment, the weight of the world fell on Eva. She collapsed to the ground, overwhelmed by grief.
**Lee Soo POV:**
As I explained the dangers and capabilities of these immortal beings, I noticed Eva's sudden distress. She fell to the floor, unconscious. I signaled my team to take her to a medical tent for emergency care.
Meanwhile, my partner, Jimson, and I needed to gather more intel about these gods, focusing particularly on Kim Taehyung. I directed my crew to pin his photograph on the board.
"Listen up, team. We must locate this man; he has a human girl named Luna, and time is of the essence. If we fail this mission, dire consequences await."
"Yes, Captain! We're on it!" the soldiers responded, determination in their eyes.
