...The death's...

-some people say schools a prison, and today I realised they're right-

I'm going to school today, my parents didn't want me to but I insisted because some teachers didn't mark me excused so I have to fix my grades. I got on the bus and me and Lily talked like normal. We just wanted to get our minds off the deaths. When we got to the school we were surprised to see that jake and his buddy's were no where to be found. I got to my first period and the announcements started "students, we are sad to say that most of our football team and some other students have been found dead. We will be having a ceremony later today to remember them. I hope you all have a good rest of your day and we'll see you there." Then it cut off, I was shocked, at this point I shouldn't be shocked at all the deaths, to many have happened recently...

Later that day the ceremony happened, I found out that Jake, Jared, Luke, Jake's girlfriend Linda, and some of Jake's other friends have died. The whole time I was trying to piece together why all these deaths happened. I then thought back to the fire, and when I saw the body of tobys dad. I remember seeing a slit on his throat, and I started to question if he wasn't killed by the fire... but by someone.
Was it his wife? I don't think she would do that she cared about him too much. Was it Toby? He did have a lot of trauma and his dad abused him so it would make sense, but... Just then everyone started leaving so I got up and left with the crowd.

-After school-

I got off the bus and walked up to my house, I was about to open the door when I saw a note taped to it,

"me and your dad have to go get massages and diner
we'll be back later.
I have left overs in the refrigerator so you can eat those.

                  Mom <3"

I sighed and grabbed the key from under the mat. I unlocked the door and walked in, I shut and locked the door behind me. I set my stuff down and went upstairs to my room. I sat at my desk and turned some music on, I got my homework out and started working. As I was doing my homework Lily called me. Thats strange, she rarely ever calls me. I picked it up, "Hello?"
"Hey y/n something strange happened,  and I think you should come see for yourself its hard to explain"
"Oh um ok I'll be over in a sec"
"K bye"
"Bye"
She hung up, I was curious to see what happened so I finished up my homework and headed over to her house. Her house was only a couple blocks away so its not that long of a walk. When I made it to her house, I knocked on the door and she answered immediately. "Hey, come on its this way" she said with a mix of fear and excitement. She lead me to her back yard which lead to the woods. On one of the trees there was a page stuck to it. "Ummm what's this?" I asked clearly confused "I don't know, it was here when I got back from school" I then read what it said "no eyes, always watches" then there was a messy drawing of a figure in the woods. It looked like a kids drawing, the figure was harshly scribbled and poorly done. It had a creepy feel to it, "did you do any research on it" "no not yet, I waited for you to get here before doing anything." We then went inside and went on her laptop. We searched "creepy page on tree" and we found that it has something to do with this demon like thing with no face called slender man and his proxies. I started to think she was messing with me, slender man is only a creepy story to scare people not to be taken seriously "your joking just admit it" I said to her "no I am not! I would never mess with you esspecially with the situation your in!" She said clearly frustrated "ok, ok, I don't know what to do except keep an eye out, just contact me if you see anything, ok?" "ok I guess..."

Then we said goodbye and I walked back home. I heated up dinner and ate. I didn't hear anything from her after my parents got home so I decided to call it a night.
