Part 1

"Naira! Naira! Are yaar uth naa! College ke liye late ho raha hai!!" Said a boy vigorously shaking a girl.

"10 minute aur sone sone do na yaar, pls Kartik!!" She said in a sleepy voice covering her face with the blanket.

( A/N: So, as u might have got to know that the boy and the girl are none other than our Kaira. Let me tell u that they are childhood friends, their fathers are business partners and friends. Also, both the families are quite close to each other. Kaira have know each other since they were 1 year old and have literally grown up together and are best friends. But are they only best friends or something more than that?🤔 To know keep reading😉😁)

"Aree yaar tuh aaj fir se college ke liye late karvaegi Naira!! Uth na yaar!!" He whined but all his sayings went onto deaf ears. At last, he gets an idea and smirks while taking a jug of water from the side table and then he poured all the water on her.

She woke up with a jerk while shouting,"Aaahhhhh!! Baarish aa gayi!!!" But when then she saw Kartik laughing, she understood what he did and came in her Sherni mode.

"Hahahaha!! Naira.... Baarish, seriously!! Stupid ladki ghar ke andar baarish nahi hoti!!" He said and started laughing even more. She took a pillow and was about to hit him that all her anger melted away seeing him laughing, his one smile made her irritation go away and she started admiring him.

( A/N: Yes, u guessed right!! Naira already has realized her feelings for Kartik and she knows that she is truly and madly in love with her Mendhak. She's just waiting for the right time to confess her feelings to him. On the other hand, Kartik is yet to realize his feelings for her. Despite of having feelings for her, he considers her only as his best friend.)

Naira comes out of her trance as she sees the time and starts shouting, "Ahhh! Main bohot late ho gayi!!" She immediately takes her clothes and rushes to the bathroom.

"Budhu Sherni!!" Kartik murmurs to himself while slapping his head and smiling at her cute antics. He then goes down to pack her breakfast, cuz he knew that she will now be ready to skip her breakfast as she's already late, so he packs it so that she can have her food in the car.

After getting ready they bid bye to their parents and rush towards the car.

( A/N: did I just tell, that their houses are adjacent to each other? So they can easily meet each other at any hour of the day.)

They were in the car, Kartik was driving while Naira was on the passenger seat, he handed her the breakfast and asked her to eat, she was in awww seeing his care towards her. These little actions of him made her fall for him even more every single day.

Soon, they reached the college and went to their classroom. After college they returned back home, spent some time studying, talking to their families and most importantly talking to each other.

A week later,

Naira had not been well since a few days as she had a fever, so she didn't go to college either. Even Kartik was not willing to go alone but had to go on her insistence.

Now finally, Naira was all well and was packing her stuff to go to college today, Kartik didn't know about this as she thought of surprising him but little did she know that she herself was about to get the biggest shock of her life.

Naira reaches the college and is finding Kartik, suddenly she hears a sound from one of the classrooms that are usually empty. She starts moving towards it, but what she saw made her shocked to the core. Tears of pain, hurt and suffering brimmed her eyes as she saw Kartik, the love of her life, hugging someone else with a huge smile on his face.
