Part 2

Kartik's POV

I went behind them and they entered in the library, Kunal went and sat beside Naira who was reading a book. Oh how cute she looked while doing even such simple tasks like reading a book. I saw Kunal going towards her and keeping a hand on her shoulder. She looked behind at him and then they both sat beside each other and started discussing something which I couldn't hear but still I was very jealous of them being so close and I couldn't understand, what is that Naira is sharing with him but not me.

Naira's POV

I was sitting in the library when Kunal came there and put his hand on my shoulder. He seemed to have known why I came here!! I wanted to break into tears but I again controlled myself and started talking to him to divert my mind while he was trying to uplift my mood but it didn't really help, I couldn't forget the pain I was in!!!

The whole day Kaira didn't get a chance to talk as Kartik was with Natasha or u can say that she didn't leave his side for even a minute(chipku🙄) while Naira tried to maintain a distance from him to avoid another heartbreak.

That day after going home, Naira cried a lot taking out all her pain of losing the only love of her life. She wept for hours and hours and slept while crying.

A few days passed and Kaira's bond has not been the same, they barely got to talk and Naira started spending more time with Kunal, thereby irritating Kartik while Naira always used to get hurt seeing Natasha so close to whom she once considered as hers.

One day, Kartik gathered all the family members (including Singhania's as they considered each other as a part of the family) in the hall and said that he wants all of them to go out as it's been long that they have not been on any family picnic and also today was Sunday so they all were free and could go out but the truth was that he wanted to spend time with Naira, all these days they had not been talking to each other and it was getting really hard for him to stay away from his Sherni. Though Naira was a little reluctant earlier but later, on everyone's insistence, she agreed making Kartik jump in excitement.

At the picnic spot, they were all spending sometime together, talking about business, reminiscing old days and even Kaira's childhood days and were reliving all those memories, when.....

Suddenly, Natasha came and hugged Kartik in front of everyone, "Hi Kartik!! Mujhe nahi pata tha tum bhi yahan hoge!!" she said and hugged him again. Naira felt her heart being stabbed a thousand times with a knife. Most of the family members had a confused look on their faces while some like Dadi, did not like an unknown girl clinging to her grandson that way and that too infront of everyone. Also, she had an idea about Naira's love for Kartik despite of not listening from her mouth, but she was sure that both of them truly loved each other and wanted them to be together. She looked towards Naira and her eyes didn't fail to notice her pain and she gave a disgusted look to Natasha.

Kartik was uncomfortable when Natasha hugged him suddenly and that too in front of everyone and then he somehow made her leave him and turned towards the family members who were looking at him with with confusion clearly written on their faces.

"Vo...umm...yeh Natasha hai, hum ek hi college mein hain!" He siad to the family members.

"Aur Natasha yeh hai meri family!!" He said turning towards her.

Natasha mumbled to 'hi' to everyone and without caring about anyone, started pulling Kartik with her, asking him to spend some time with her. Noone liked her in both the families but didn't show it as they didn't want to create any scene but Dadi was really pissed off from her behaviour 😡 and seeing Naira's sadness made her even more angry, she was literally shooting daggers at her from her sight until, she finally spoke, "Kittu!! Beta baatein baad mein kar lena pehle yahan aao aur kuch khaa lo!"
