Andrium

Well I suppose before I start I should probably explain the world behind this story, the world in question is called Andrium. The continent in which this story is set is called Windmouth. It is a place where many of the Andrium's races co-exist, in the east is the province of Men, in the north is the land of the Elves, and in the southern regions lies the Kingdom of the Dwarves and (unfortunately) the Grey Marshes- The Goblin Country. In the north the Dark Forest separates the Elvish lands from the rest of the continent, it is a place where few dare to tread and those that do will either find themselves lost in it's constant dark caused by the canopy of trees above, or discovered by the dark power that resides there. To the south lies a great mountain range that sits at the heart of the Dwarven Kingdom and concludes with a ring of rock that encompasses the city of Caelthor, a long lost Elven 'jewel' that is, in fact, the heart of this particular story. Our story begins in the town of Sodemview, the most easterly city of Men. It is so far from the Human's capital in Windmouth, Seaforge, that Sodemview has become completely isolated from the rest of the world of Men, and now relies on the neighbouring Elven cities of Meathren and Nimtras for any news that passes through their borders. Sodemview itself is found deep in the Elvish lands, and on the coast of The Great North Sea. The only defence Sodemview has at it's disposal is a wall of stone that circles the town and one large watchtower. The watchtower itself is able to see for many miles on a clear day and, if the guards eyes are sharp enough, the Dark Forest could be seen in the distance. The watchtower is the more specific place where our story begins...
