    JULIA PETERSON was the sweetest girl that ever graced Crockett island.

Growing up on the island with out a mother, a strict father, and and no siblings, Julia's life was about as interesting as watching paint dry. She Smiled when told to, laughed when thought to, played the part when threatened to, and no one seemed to notice the false act. For a while she thought she would never leave that island, stuck to abide by the commands of her father until either one of them dropped dead, that was until she got accepted into college, leaving to never look back — At least she thought she'd never look back. But when her father dies she's forced to return for the funeral only to be met with a stranger and not the Monsignor she knew. Fearing she might not make it out of the island again, she packs her bags for the ferry, but the stranger named Father Paul, and his congregation seemed to have other plans.
