They all came back to the boat, their only refuge. They brought back a few crabs they found on the beach. With the little gas they had left, the fired up the stove, boiled some water and cooked the crabs. They made some soup with lemon, herbs and the crab shells as well.
They all thanked Robert. Believe it or not, Robert's passion is cooking and baking."It's very good." said Vanessa."It's amazing!" said Ash."Thank you." said Jessica."You're welcome." said Robert.
They were all in silence the entire meal. Before they knew it they fell asleep.
SKKRREECCHHH
The gang got awakened by the intense sound and shaking."What's happening?" said Vanessa very nervously. Ash looked out the window. He realized that the boat was sliding of the rocks and getting shredded in half in the process."Grab everything you can!" yelled Ash and Vanessa at the same time.
They looked at each other. Ash felt his heart beating faster and faster. Vanessa felt the same way. It's just that Ash did'nt know it.
They stopped looking at each other and started the grab whatever they had left. In any second, the boat would be shredded and sink with them in it. Ash, Robert and Jessica left the boat. "Where's Vanessa?" said Jessica. Vanessa ran out of the boat with something in his pocket. Vanessa jumped out of the boat. Ash grabbed her before she fell on the rocks.
Vanessa and Ash still hugging, they all saw as their only chance of survival got engulfed into the ocean.
