I was sitting on the couch with Harry, Eleanor, and Lucy planning the wedding. I told Harry that we didn't need to make it huge but he insisted on giving me the wedding of my dreams. It was going to be a grand, elegant type wedding and I still can't believe that so many big name celebrities were going to be there! Turns out there is a huge plantation right near the meadow and creek Harry and I first started falling in love at and that is where we wanted the wedding to be. Sounds silly right? A elegant wedding on a plantation? But it was special to Harry and I so we didn't care what anybody else thought of it. It was going to be beautiful anyways.  "Hey Emma! There's a phone call for you!" Lucy shouted from the kitchen. I got up and went into the kitchen.

"Hello?" I said into the phone. "Hi, is this Ms. Hadley?" a man asked. "This is her," I said. "Well there must be no easy way to inform you of this but last night your father was in a terrible car accident which a drunk driver is being held responsible for. He was killed on impact. I'm terribly sorry Ms.Hadley," I dropped the phone, was this a dream? It had to be, my wedding was two months away! He had to be there, he was walking me down the isle.

I did what I always do when I'm upset, I ran away. I ran into the living room and out the door in tears. I heard Harry shout before I slammed the door, "Darling what's wrong?!?" He shot up and chased me out the door. I kept running though, I ran down the road and stopped to catch my breath. I didn't see any body around so I let my feelings out. I screamed at the top of my lungs. My scream was cut short by Harry pulling me into his arms and stroking my curls the best he could with out tangling his fingers in my hair. "He's dead, he's dead Harry!" I cried into his chest. Harry's face went serious, "Who is?" "My daddy! Some drunk driver got into an a-a-" I couldn't finish the sentence. Harry swooped me into his arms like I was a baby and I wrapped my arms around his neck and kept crying into his chest. "I'm so sorry, love," he kept saying as he carried me back to the house. Harry had started crying too.

Harry walked back into the house with me in his arms. "What happened! Is everything ok?" Lucy asked and Eleanor shook her head agreeing that she wanted to know the answers to the questions. "You two are going to have to leave for now, it's too painful for Emma to talk about right now, thank you for helping us with the wedding," he whispered to them. I cried harder knowing he was whispering about me for some odd reason. The girls shook their heads in agreement and told me bye as they packed up their things and left. Harry got out the fluffiest blanket in the house and put it on the couch then we cuddled up on the couch and cried together, "I understand if you don't want to get married any time soon," Harry said suddenly. As much as it hurt to know my father won't be there to walk me down the isle, to threaten Harry again about hurting me, or to dance with me at my wedding or even miss the moment Harry and I have kids I did still want to marry Harry. "No, I want to marry you," I said in between sobs. Harry gave me a kiss on the forehead, "Do you want me to sing to you, love?" he asked. I kinda just wanted to lay in his arms and cry to my hearts content but then he started singing anyways and I loved his voice so much I didn't stop him and it lulled me to sleep. That night I had nightmares of my father dying every way imaginable.
