Dahlia

I got home boiling with rage.

My hair looked a bit better but it still smells like strawberry yogurt. Obviously some cheap soap and hand dryer can't get it all out.

"You aren't going to be angry forever ya know" Olley said as he stepped out from the car.

"You had one job to do Olley, protect me" I said feeling like a freaking princess.

"I thought you didn't want me to" he said on a low tone.

"Why am I even yelling at you, it's not your fault, I'm sorry"I told him.

He looked at me for a while before a smile crept on his face.

"I don't accept that kind of apology Dahlia Lavender, if you want me to forgive you, give me a milkshake and breakfast in bed" he smiled.

"Rot in hell" I spat before storming into the house.

"Hi kids how was school?" My mom asked.

"Mom how could you?!" I made my way to the kitchen.

"That's a wonderful way to say Good afternoon mom, it's that the new trend? Because I am not loving it" she said.

"Good afternoon mom" Olley kissed her head.

"Good afternoon son" she beamed at him.

"Did you or did you not know that Matilda was coming to my school? What is she doing here she is meant to be seven seas away from here" I asked

"California is a two hour drive from here Dally. And her family moved in recently" she said

"There are a bunch of schools that she could have gone to, why mine?" I pressed

"I recommended your school to her parents. I think it's very sweet that you go to the same school" she explained.

Fuck me!

"Guess what mom! It's not sweet! In fact it's the opposite of sweet, it's very bitter!" I yelled.

"Well, I made brownies" she showed me a tray of brownies.

"Don't mind if I do" Olley licked the bottom of his lips while take a brownie.

"I am very mad at you mom" I stuffed my mouth with brownie and a smile grew on her face.

"Go shower honey" she told me.

"Fine, I love you but I am very angry at you so for five minutes I hate you" I slurred the word

"Whatever you say honey"she said and I dragged myself up the stairs.

"Your daughter is a weirdo" I heard Olley say

" I heard that!" I turned and glared at him.

"Don't say that about my daughter" mom used a wooden spoon to whack his head.

When I got to my room a message from from Valerie. A picture of her and her Roman boyfriend. I don't even know if they were dating.

With a sigh that seemed more like a groan, I threw my phone in the bed and the entered bathroom.

Time to work lady magic and get this stench outta my hair!

When I was done, I sniffed my hair one or two times enjoying the coconut glory before blasting my Little Mix playlist and danced on my bed.

"MAMA TOLD ME NOT TO WASTE MY LIFE SHE SAID SPREAD YOUR WINGS MY LITTLE BUTTERFLY!!!" I yelled at the top of my lungs.

"Mom! Dally's mental disorder has taken over I think we need to get the chains!" I heard Olley grumble

"AND IF THEY IF YOU-SHH THEN THEY CAN WALK ON BY!!" My mom screamed

"Jesus this thing is contagious" Olley cried.

"YOUR WORDS DON'T MEAN A THING I'M NOT LISTENING KEEP TALKING ALL I KNOW IS" I and mom yelled.

Now this is one thing I would never change for the world, our live for Little Mix.

The 'madness' as my brother would call it went on till late in the late after dinner.
