Chapter 2

(Tobias Pov)

I wake up to see Tris in my arms.I slowly get up so I won’t wake her up.I go to the bathroom and take a shower and shave.When I get out of the bathroom I see Tris still in bed.

“Wake up-,”I stop dead in my tracks and decide to have a little fun with this. I go the kitchen and get a bucket filled with ice and cold water.Then I get whipped cream. I go back into the room,thankfully she is still sleeping. I put whipped cream all over Tris’s face and she starts to stir.

“Tobias,”she mumbles.

“Yes?”I say.

“What’s on my face?”she asks.

“Nothing,here let me get it off of you,”I say. I pour the bucket over her head.

“ TOBIAS!!!!!! WHAT THE HELL,”she says angrily but amused.

“You wouldn’t get up,”I say laughing.

“Keep laughing…This is war,”she says. She storms into the bathroom and locks the door.I laugh to myself asI finish getting ready. When I am done,Tris is sitting on the bed putting on her shoes.

“I love you,” I say.

“Hmmm,” she says.

“Don’t be mad ,it was a harmless joke,”I say getting worried.
“Why would I be angry,”she says. She gets up and puts her hand out.

“Come on let’s go i’m starving,”she says. We walk towards the banquet hall and we get in lie to get our food. We hurry to finish our food because we are BOTH late for our jobs,

“See you later Tobias,I love you,”she says walking towards the tattoo parlor. Before I can say it back she’s gone.
