"Please, Reau. You need to let me go!" I pulled my hand harder from his grip.
"Not until you say the reason why you are leaving me! You are being unfair to me, Julienne!"
He is mad right now, but his tears are also in the verge of falling. I cannot look directly into his eyes because I know it will only change my decision.
I looked up and breathe in deeply to control my emotions. It kills me on the inside to do this but I have no other choice. Am I being unfair, Reau? If only you knew..it is more unfair to you if I'll stay.
I felt his hand holding my wrist went loose. He's letting me go..
I took a glance on him one last time, memorizing his face. His chinky eyes sparkling with tears.
I smiled and said my last words,
"Goodbye, Reau."
