"Harry, wait," I rushed after him as my breath came out in puffs.

"You wouldn't understand, Eva," he turned around whilst running a hand through his hair that glowed in the moonlight.

"Then help me understand," I pleaded, pulling on his arm so he could look at me.

I wasn't ready for him to leave, not yet. Maybe not ever. I never belonged in the world which I lived in, but I belonged in this world with his beautiful kind being known to me.

"It's not safe Eva, I'm not safe, don't you understand that?" He looked down at me with his piercing green eyes. The eyes that I've grown to love.

I could see the pain from his own words in his eyes, though I couldn't make it known to him that I could see his pain, he never liked being read.

"Will I ever see you again?" I asked him in a shaky voice. I put both of my hands on his chest-the heat that flooded into my hands soon spread to my entire body.

"You'll always be in my heart," he whispered, green eyes burning into my blue ones.

"That's not an answer," I shook my head violently and closed the distance between us by hopelessly pressing my body to his.

"No, " he breathed. A second hardly passed before his warm body was away from mine, leaving me cold, alone and heartbroken.

I wanted to run after him, to call after him, but there's no use in that once he turns into the magnificent creature that he is.

I fell to my knees and held on to them for dear life, wishing that he had never left. Wishing that I could feel his soft, plum lips on mine once more.
