I finally felt good enough to go back to school, but if I was being totally honest, I really didn't want to go back. If I did go back then I would have a LOT of work to make up.

(I know what your - probably - thinking: Author~Chan, why is it that Y/N has just transferred and is already getting so much work? Well Reader~Senpai, it's because she transferred in the middle of the school year)

As I'm walking to school, I see Aiura at the front gate. So I run up to her and say,

"Hey Aiura~Chan! How are you doing?"

I can tell she wasn't expecting me because she jumped and then turned around. She replied with a,

"O-Oh! Hey N-N/N~San! I'm doing good, how about you?"

I thought I saw a hint of blush showing on her face and I couldn't tell if she was embarrassed over something or if she was blushing over someone she liked.

"I'm doing great! Oooooo~ do you have a crush on someone Aiura~Chan~?"

This - I could tell - made Aiura blush harder.

"W-What?? W-W-Why would you a-a-ask t-that question?!"

It's you N/N~San...

When I heard her think that, I was the one blushing really hard.

"Huh-? Why are you- oh... I forgot about you having the ability to read minds- uhmm FORGET YOU HEARD ANYTHING!"

As she said the last part, she ran away blushing super hard. Like, is there anyone else that can get redder than her right now? I mean, I really can't be talking seeing as, I was just as red-

I felt bad for running away like that, but I wasn't sure how she was going to react to me having a crush on her. I guess I'll just have to ask during lunch and deal with it if she rejects me. For now I'll just get to class.

I walk up to the roof because I knew that's N/N's favorite place to eat lunch. And as expected, I see her there. I walk over to her and say,

"Hey N/N! Can I... talk to you?"

"Huh? Oh sure what about Aiura~Chan?"

"I would like to hang out with you and after, maybe talk about something.."

"Huh? Like... a date?"

This made me and her both blush at the thought.

"I-I mean- I wasn't thinking of it as a-a-a date b-but if you want to then s-sure! I-I guess it i-is a date! Hehe~"

"Alright! Sounds good Aiura~Chan!!"

"Okay! See you after school N/N~San!!"

"Okay! Bye Aiura~Chan! Can't wait for the date luv!"
