𝑪𝒉𝒂𝒑𝒕𝒆𝒓 10 - Rain

𝑺𝒂𝒓𝒂𝒉 𝑳𝒂𝒏𝒆 𝒑𝒐𝒗:

Today was rainy and I had to walk to school because Hugo didn't show up today and I couldn't wait for him because I will be late for school.

My shoes were soaking and I was cold. At least I had an umbrella to kepp my clothes dry.

It wasn't raining so badly like a thunder storm but not so little like its drizzling. Once I was in the hall I closed my umbrella and carried on with my day as it was usual.

"Have you seen Hugo anywhere?" Max asks as he sits down at the same table where me and Sam were sitting.

"No" sam replies. "Did you see him?" sam adds.

"Nope today I came walking" I say while shrugging.

"That's weird" Max's mutters softly but I heard it.

"What's weird?" I ask

"Hugo didn't talk to me yesterday and now he didn't come to school" he said.

I furrowed my eyebrows. Did I do something? Or is it something personal of his.

Once I reached home I went in the shower and put my wet clothes in the dryer.

After I was in my new dry clothes, other words my pajamas. I jumped into bed and scrolled through my phone like usual. It was still raining though and I decided I should watch a movie.

I went downstairs, in the kitchen to make my popcorn when my phone started ringing. I answered and guess who was on the other side. Hugo.

We spoke for a while and then we cut the call. My popcorn was also done by the time we ended the call.

I took my popcorn and went to my room and started looking for a movie to watch.

I heard somebody knock at the door. I went downstairs and I expected Sarah because she said she might come today but turns out the person that was knocking was Hugo.

"What do you want?" I ask.

"I was bored" he said.

"OK and?"

"I decided to come over since there was nothing to do at my place"

"What do you mean there was nothing to do at your place you live in a literall mansion"

"Well there's nothing to do in that mansion" he says. "So can I enter?" he ask. I move out of the way and he walks past me.

"what are you doing?" I ask. He was now in the kitchen sitting on top of the counter.

"You mentioned your are going to watch a movie and I decided I should come over" he says.

"So you weren't bored? You just wanted my company how sweet" I say sarcastically.

He jumps down from the counter and he smirks. I move away not wanting the same situation what happened last time he was at my house.

"Relax, I'm not going to try anything today" he says "Do you mind if I watch the movie with you?" he adds

"No" I say going to my room.

"Whyy?" he asks while following me.

"You really want my attention don't you? Well I already said no and now you can go home"

"Please Sarah, there's nothing to do at my place otherwise you want to go to a library or somewhere" he suggested.

I gasp and turn around. "ok I change my mind let's go to the library"

He slightly laughs. "Alright, I'm driving"

"Duh you're driving, I don't know how to"  I take my jacket and walk past him in excitement.
