"Condolence"

"Condolence"

"Condolence" was all I could hear in the gloomy cemetery of Cusco, Peru. The pouring raindrops on my skin comfort my still body. Callous and cold, I just couldn't digest what just happened.

"Everything happens for a reason" is how they would comfort me. But I doubt it. Things happen because we let them happen. And I never chose to make my husband leave me in a car crash nor my parents in a road mishap that caused their lives to be taken away. It is... traumatizing. I never knew this day would come, that I would be orphaned and widowed in the same life.
